Mummu in Summer on a birthday card

This is a card I made for an older lady who is having a birthday soon. I wanted to try to get it vintage, but still trying to keep a bit fresher colours, so I think I got the look I was going after.
It's kinda difficult for me to make cards that are not sugar sweet and pink or blues,so I struggled some time to get it done.
But I can say that I actually like the brown and green with a dash of pink. I have used a lovely quote in estonian, which I have seen around in different blogs.
The image is as always by Mo Manning and it's called Mummu in Summer.

A couple of days ago, thinking about summer, I discovered that it's only a little over two months till vacation and although it may sound like a long time, it's actually not.
So I'm starting on some cards I need for this summer, so I do not have to find myself making all the cards on the last minute.
This one is for a cute little boy, who's turning 2 this summer.

Mo's dt Introducing Oskar

This time a really simple card from me.
Was in Oslo last weekend and bought me some new goodies, like these beautiful papers from Pion Design, which needed to be used right away!
Could'nt decide how to embellish it and after trying the most of the things I had and staring on it for a couple of days I found out that I like it just the way it is :)
Now I can cut out a name or age or both and put these on the card when I will give it away.
I've used Introducing Oskar and coloured him with my copics.

Ps! I have seen some comments like where I can find this image etc and wanted to let you know, that I always link the names and so. Just click on the name and you'll find the image;)
You can also see my cards bigger by clicking on the image.

Perfection

Here's my last dt card I made in February, before I can start putting up my March ones.
This time I've used Perfection and she can be found here.
The last cards have been made with scraps and the images have been laying around for a while so there is no color numbers and PP names. I have used copics
On this card I've used an old retroflower punch from EK success with my new mini leaf punch and I love how the flowers turned out. Have used these on one of my March cards too and you will probrably see this combo more.

Hugs

I will enter these card into following challenges:

Veronica

As I said on my last post I have a couple of February dt cards I haven't had time or oppurtunity  to put up.
I had the photos on my laptop which I dropped on the floor and the whole screen was damaged:(
Luckily my hubby found a new screen and fixed it today.
I've learned, you can't have both baby and a computer on your lap:S

Well,  here comes the first of them:)
I've used Veronica on this card. This image can be found here!

Made the card without text this time, so the card can be used for birthdays, new job or yeah, pretty much any occasion.

Lil Lad Damon

On friday, I purchased 6 of my first Tickled Pink stamps ever and first one of them landed on a birthday card already. How cool is he?

Shes looks really sunburned on the photos but I have to blame it on a bad lightning,  she was not quite brown as she looks here, lol1

Skateboard Schoolboy

Well, actually the title should be: Kerttu is doing things she can't. Making maskulin cards means going out of my comfort zone, waaaaaay out of it, lol! But boys have birthdays too;) So here's a really simple card with another Mo's little treasure. This time I've used the skateboard schoolboy to make a birthdaycard.
For this card I've used a sketch I found over here.
