My Etsy Mosaic finds

Vi ho già parlato della mia passione per il mosaico.

Attraverso delle fantastiche creazioni trovate su Etsy vorrei mostrarvi le possibilità di applicazione di questa tecnica anche a piccoli oggetti che il mosaico rende unici.

I would like to show you some cool creations found on Etsy to let you understand the various applications of this technique that can give a touch of uniqueness even to small objects.

Come avevo anticipato qualche giorno fa e come potete vedere dal mini-shop affianco al post, ho aperto un secondo negozio su Etsy, AlteasCrafts, per vendere un po' di materiale che ho acquistato durante la mia "carriera" di hobbysta e che non ho mai utilizzato o utilizzato in parte. Per ora la maggior parte degli articoli inseriti riguardano la tecnica del mosaico e della vetrofusione (ma possono essere utilizzati per qualsiasi cosa suggerisca la fantasia!): come queste belle murrine nella foto sopra, con le quali potreste realizzare un oggetto come quello nella foto sotto. Ho inserito anche qualche perlina, ma più avanti inserirò anche altro materiale per bijoux che ho in eccesso o che non mi interessa più utilizzare e magari qualche pezzo fatto con le mie mani.

Che dire, se vi interessa qualcosa fatevi avanti, devo fare spazio in casa per fare nuovi bijoux!

As announced some days ago and as you can see by the mini-shop on the side I opened a second shop on Etsy, AlteasCrafts, to sell some of the material I have collected during my "carrier" as a crafter and that I have never used or used in part. Now you can find material special for mosaic and lampworking (but you can use it for any creative project the you fantasy can suggest!): like these cute murrini chips in the first picture above that you can use to make an object like the one in second picture. Later on I will add also excess jewelry material and maybe some handmade findings.

What else, if you are interested in anything go ahead, I need more space for more jewelry!

Versatilità delle perle * Beads versatility

Ispirata dal post di Alessia di Beads & Tricks e dal blog Then and now, riguardo all'evoluzione della nostra creatività, sono andata a ritrovare alcuni ultimi lavori a mosaico fatti quasi un paio di anni fa, e mi sono resa conto che la mia tendenza ad utilizzare le perle si era già rivelata. Mi piaceva mescolare le perle, più dolci e sofisticate, con le tessere di mosaico, più fredde e geometriche.

Inspired by the post of Alessia of Beads & Tricks and by blog Then and now, regarding evolution of our crafting I got back to some of last mosaic works that I made almost a couple of years ago, and I realized that my attitude to use beads was proclaimed already. I liked to mix gentle and sofisticated pearls with mosaic tiles which are more aseptic and geometric.

Nostalgia

Avevo nostalgia dei miei vecchi lavori di mosaico. Purtroppo ho un po' abbandonato quest'arte stupenda perchè richiede molto spazio e l'utilizzo di materiali difficili da lavorare in casa solo nel tempo libero. Ho ancora molto mosaico, non è detto che ogni tanto mi metta a pasticciare ancora qualcosa!

I miss my old mosaic pieceworks. Unfortunately I have quit this beautyful craft because it requires a lot of space to work and also materials that are difficult to handle at home. I still have a lot of mosaic, who knows that maybe I can still mess something up!
