Congrats Alexis & John!

Finally, a weekend without rain! I think it's because this is my wedding anniversary weekend....and we always have good weather that weekend! :) But, my anniversary aside.....today was Alexis & John's big day, and they had a beautiful fall themed ceremony and reception at La Malfa in Mentor. I have been so excited about these centerpieces for months! Fall is my favorite time of year, and I absolutely love everything about the details they chose....especially the fall colors! Everything was beautiful! Congrats to Alexis & John!

Congrats Brittany & Bryan!

Brittany & Bryan were married in an outdoor ceremony at The Bertram Inn in Aurora, Ohio on a beautiful sunny day! With all the rain we've had this summer, the outdoor weddings have made me a bit nervous! But the clouds stayed away for the afternoon and the sun was shining for their ceremony! I also must say, Brittany's lace gown was stunning!!

The cocktail hour was held inside in the foyer, where buffet displays lined the tables and twinkle lights trickled down from ceiling to floor against all the windows. It was a really beautiful touch!

Inside the banquet room, tables were set in two different styles. Deep red linens with sheer ivory overlays and tall centerpieces with clouds of baby's breath, and white linens with short baby's breath centerpieces. The solid baby's breath looked so elegant in the room, and the ceiling treatment with lighting added that finishing touch to the special celebration.
Congrats to the beautiful couple, Brittany & Bryan! Best wishes for a long and happy marriage! It was a true pleasure working such a sweet family!

Loving this "Strawberry Bar"!

*Swooning* over this amazing Strawberry Bar! Not only is everything strawberry flavored, but everything is strawberry themed -- even the pots for the flowers are strawberries! This is taking a candy/dessert station to the next level! Perfect for summertime -- a fruit themed cocktail hour? Bridal brunch? I think you'll see a version of this at my birthday party later this week, too!

Congrats Marge & Henry

We helped Marge & Henry celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary on December 4th (actual anniversary date was December 7th). With the help of Marge's son and daughter-in-law in Cincinnati, we planned a holiday gathering for 80 guests at the Lake House in Avon Lake. We brought in white chairs, chair covers, banquet tables, white linens, and we set the tables and coordinated the event. Marge's daughter-in-law, Tracee, hand painted wine glasses for each guest to take home as a favor!

La Campagna in Westlake brought in a wonderful catered lunch, live music was played for the guests by John Kowalski, Marge & Henry's daughters gave a presentation of fun family history and played trivia with the guests to hand out holiday gifts. Also on hand was a DVD copy of their wedding, which played on the television throughout the afternoon. The cherry to top it all off was the dessert...dozens and DOZENS of cupcakes from Sugar Cupcakery, which came all the way up from Cincinnati (Milford). So delicious!

It was a beautiful day and a touching event for such a sweet couple. It was a wonderful experience working with this loving (and large!) family. Best wishes to Marge and Henry for many more years of happiness!

On a side not, Sugar Cupcakery is going to be featured on Cupcake Wars on Food Network! Their episode will air on June 13, 2011. For more information visit foodnetwork.com/cupcake-wars.

Congratulations Tina & Justus!

Tina & Justus' Halloween themed wedding turned out absolutely fabulous! It was so exciting to be a part of such a unique and fun event! We participated in our first Buddhist ceremony, and it was inspiring and uplifting....not the words one would usually associate with a wedding ceremony. It left me with a feeling of calm, happiness, motivation to better myself as a person, and to concentrate my energy on good instead of using it to worry about the negative. Very inspiring and motivating, and he left the newlyweds with some wonderful words of wisdom.

HOB is an AMAZING venue for wedding ceremonies. The staff there was top notch, and everything was perfectly executed and on-time; from the slide show playing on all of the television screens, to the red and orange stage lighting, to the staff's assistance with every detail....it's truly one of the best ceremony locations I've ever worked with! Huge thanks to the event staff House of Blues for making this wedding ceremony flawless!
After the ceremony, the wedding party took photos all over HOB, then went off to a local cemetery for photos. Their photography, video and photo booth were provided by Digital 504, and I have to brag on them as well! They were professional, efficient, and on top of that they were a blast to work with. It's rare to find all three qualities in one! I can't praise them enough for their work yesterday, and I hope to work with Jay and his staff again soon!

The reception for almost 300 guests consisted of a massive Halloween candy station, pumpkin centerpieces with red rose petals on each table, and a fun photo booth with Halloween hats and accessories for the guests to play in. The head table had gorgeous silver candelabras with taper candles, and a skeleton greeted the guests at the entryway.

I can't wait to see the photos and videos from the photographers....we'll share more details as we get them! Check out our Facebook page for more of our own photos and videos from the day.

Congratulations and best wishes to Tina and Justus! I hope you both have a wonderful time on your fabulous honeymoon to the Galapagos Islands! You were such a fun couple to work with, and it was so exciting to help you in planning this amazing Halloween themed wedding.
