A FORGOTTEN ROLL

This is so funny that I had totally forgotten about a third roll of film swap which Julie and I did very long time ago! But you know it seems that the film knew about the poor result so it hid itself from me; because when today I picked up the developed film from lab and scanned it, I could barely see any of Julie's exposures there! (Sorry Julochka!)

They are not really satisfactory as "film Swap" shots but I like them as they are.

SUNSET TO MY HOUSE

Happy Friday, friends. 

Many of you must recognize these photos from the Film Swap project, but for those who are new here(hello new visitors!) I give a little description:

The Film Swap project is a collaboration between Julie and I which took place last year. We both loaded our own roll films, exposed, send them to the other one all the way from Iran to Denmark and reversed, double exposed accidentally on one another films, developed and fell in love! Yes that's the magical story. And on a secret note I must tell you that it's not done yet! We have new things for you. But till then you can view the whole project here, here and here.

NO TITLE

Well... I thought for about fifteen minutes to pick a title for this post; and nothing came to my mind.  This is how my brain works at times.

Okay these are a few more favorites from Film Swap project with Julie. I somehow adore these ones. And I can't really express the reason.

Farshad is away on a trip to U.S. for a month and I am so trying to distract myself by little funny things. So maybe you can tell me something sweet and amusing about your day? I would love to hear!

AND SO ON ...

Today was the day of walking in the rain with a friend, having wet shoes with a friend, sharing a sandwich and drinking Americano with a friend. And talking a lot with a friend. Now I am home, tired and happy. With many goals and dreams to think about. 

I miss my love so much and also my beloved sister and my baby nephew; so so much ... There are moments in my life, when I am happy but a little sadness having a place in my heart, that I cordially wish life was perfect. But it's not, and I know it. I love this imperfect life tonight. Good night. xo

IF YOU

It's very late at night. And I am here, so awake, to share the forth part of roll number one from Film Swap with you. Today Julie got the second roll from lab and let me tell you ... it's fabulous!

BITS OF SUMMER

Hello friends. 

It's a wonderful snowy day here. Everything is white and pretty. And the teakettle is happily whistling. Lovely, right?! Oh and something else, I am reading The Julie/Julia Project web-log, the archive from 2002. Weird. Have you seen the movie? Well I have. Two times in one day. Obsessed I think. But it's really adorable. And I didn't know Julia Child, is it strange? But this girl(Julie Powell) really evoked a dream in me. And the feeling is really great. 

Okay guys, these photos are the third part of Film Swap project. There are many more to come and I hope you are not getting tired of them. Mmm... well I am sure you aren't!!!

KUSADASI'S STREETS OR A GARDEN IN GIVE

Okay. We're here for the second round of our Film Swap photos which are taken first by Julie in her garden in Give and then by me in Kuşadası, Turkey.

We both wish we could have Julie's photos as clear as mine. And we think it's because of the ISO settings.
