Happy Birthday to You

Hello everyone

Time for the next Crafty Creations Challenge

The sponsor of this challenge is Beccy's Place and she has the cutest digi sets.

Prize -  1 set - winners choice.

If you are looking for something cute, start at Beccy's Place. All of her digi's are sold in sets but I love them because they go together.

I chose a darling train pull toy and it's perfect for a little boy. 'Cause little boys all seem to love trains. The image I am using is in the Precious Baby digital set

I decided to make my card really simple. I colored my train and used an oval die to cut it out. I mounted a pretty blue holographic paper under the train.I decided to add some smoke coming of the smokestack so I hand drew and cut the puffs of smoke, I popped them up using foam.

Those tickets were a perfect spot for the sentiment.

Season's Greetings

Hello Everyone

Todays card is monochromatic with a splash of color. And of course it's a Christmas card. LOL. Since this card is cream and white, I used a red backdrop instead of a white background to showcase the detail of the card.

This card design came to be after using some of the dies from MFT DieNamics Blueprints #14. Have you used any of the Blueprints yet?? They're great, you can make your own card design, because you have many options (dies) in each set. I suggest that you cut each of the shapes out of white CS and store them with the dies. Then when you want to design a card, pull the shapes out, move them around and decide on your final design. Then cut the shapes out of the paper you want to actually use on the card.Easy and fun.

SUPPLIES USED ON MY PROJECT

Tulips from the Garden

Hi Everyone,
I know spring is just about officially over but I thought you'd enjoy some tulips from the garden. These tulips are in a newer set over at Sparkle N Sprinkle. Aren't they lonely!!! They're in set 491.

I used a 6"X 6" white card and embossed it using Spellbinders Embossing Folder – Flora EL-009.
I stamped the tulips on white cs and colored them with my Spectrum Noir markers. Next I fussy cut them out  and mounted them on a green mottled card stock cut with the Spellbinders Spellbinders Beaded Squares – S4-315. I also cut orange cs using the beaded squares die. I added glitters to the beaded shapes on the cut outs, and to some of the embossed areas on the card. Next I added a bow made by using the Craft-Dee BowZ tool.

Products used:
Tulips – Set 491 - Sparkle N Sprinkle
Spellbinders Beaded Squares – S4-315
Spellbinders Embossing Folder – Flora EL-009
Glitters: Sparkling Snow G1003, Parisian Mist G1037, Orange Surprise G1010- Sparkle N Sprinkle
