I surrendered to the design gods, well at least for this one time. On Anthropologie.com this handbag is called Garden Accoutrement. I call it pure yumminess. Unfortunately, the price tag is not all that attractive.

I kept going back to check it out, having serious bag envies and then I decided I could make my own version. Not leather though, I'm not equipped for that, but with fabrics this was definitely up my alley.
So there is my version, made out of micros suede, satin and calico cottons. I picked this blue because I plan on using it for an upcoming May wedding. I made it a bit bigger so I would be able to put my DSLR in it without making it look weird and used a magnetic snap instead of a zipper for closure.
A knock off yes but oh so delicious.
I love this type of "gardening".
Oh I almost forgot .. I still have bag envies
Check this beauty out ! |
PS : This is my first finish in weeks, thank you hanging out here and thank you for my bloggy guests Holly and Beverly. You are my heroes !
