Hugs and Smiles...

TGIF my friends!

I am very happy to report that I am on quite a roll in regards to making a dent in the stack of pre-stamped images that I have sitting on my desk. I can't even tell you how long this adorable Amelia from the retired Oliver and Amelia Special Delivery set at The Greeting Farm has been waiting. I figure she was just waiting for me to collect all of the fun postage themed stamps and dies to really give her a cute card to call home. Within the scene I paired her with a mailbox stamp from Hello Bluebird that is covered in snow, which plays back nicely to Amelia's bundled up ensemble. The large postage frame die makes the entire scene look like a decorative mailing stamp and I used a mix of postmarks from Waffle Flower and Sweet November to add the perfect finishing touches. As cute as this turned out, I'm definitely tempted to get Oliver from this same set onto a coordinating card before Valentine's Day rolls around.  ;)

Have a great weekend!

The sweetest part of my day...

Howdy folks!

I was recently cleaning up my desk and putting away some of my newest Greeting Farm stamps, when I got this idea to mash up the Anya from the Anya Loves Sushi set with some of the baking accoutrements included in the Baking Anya set. I stamped and masked the bowls, flour and rolling pin before stamping Anya behind them. I didn't ink up the sides or front of her sushi table so that I was left with the counter top filling the entire bottom half of the card. Once everything was in place I colored in the cookie dough by hand to help bring the story to life. As a finishing touch I added white ink around the dough as the flour sprinkled on the counter. All together it creates a really cute scene of Anya making heart shaped cookies to give to her sweetheart on Valentine's Day. :)

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Struck by Cupid...

Hello friends!

It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of the digi sets at The Greeting Farm and today I'm excited to share a couple cards using the newest digi set just added to the store called, Struck By Cupid. This set is full of Valentine themed cuteness, complete with an adorable little Cupid Bean resting on a cloud.

My first card today is a faux post card featuring Cupid Bean and the largest of the three sentiments that are included in the set. One of the little flying bunnies was shrunk down to decorate the 'postage stamp' up in the corner and the heart banner was enlarged to hang above Cupid Bean for some extra color and decor. The soft pink and purple background was added using the Copic airbrush system and a small heart stencil.

Finally, the little fluttering bunnies were too cute not to get a card of their own so I paired them both with the bunch of heart shaped balloons to fill the card front. Tiny hearts are flying all around them while another one of the sentiments from the Struck By Cupid set is tucked into the bottom corner, keeping the design nice and tight. This all came together to make a happy little heart day card.  :)

Have a good one!
