Olo!
Have you seen all of the changes happening over at the formerly ATS store? Christine has changed the name to CC Designs Rubber Stamps to better reflect the direction of the business, so now our review preview Wednesdays are on the new CC Designs blog. :)
This week the little Sweet November princesses are back in the spotlight and I have chosen Margriet to sashay onto another card. The first time around I colored her up with a very Snow White look and I wanted to do a complete 180 from that. So out came the pinks and greens. Now Margriet looks right at home in the pastel hues of this spring garden. Because I was in a rush to get this one finished I fell back on a tried and true layout design that I use quite a bit. The flower and pearl embellishments are also standard Amy fare but if it ain't broke don't fix it, right? ;)
Now, be sure to take a look at all the fabulous princess cards that my fellow teammates have created over on the new CC Designs blog.

Waving hello...
Olo!
It's hard to believe we are far enough into the month for an ATS review preview already but here we are. I have a feeling that this summer is going to fly by. Anywho, today we are revisiting the newest stamps to be added to the CC designs range and I've colored up Swiss Pixie Snorkels for a happy summer inspired card. Giving her an underwater place to play in was a total no-brainer so I found another cool ombre paper in that Cosmo Cricket Summer Love paper pad and this one looked like waves. I really like how the graduating color makes it look like the water is getting deeper below Snorkels. I needed some more color though and that is why I added her fishy friends and the stripes in the background. Now that I've pulled out my bag of summer themed stickers I'm tempted to go through it and see if anything in it inspires more cards in the next couple months. It would be nice to whittle that collection down a bit. Oh, and I also played around a bit by adding some tiny seashell dies to Snorkels' hands. It doesn't show up real great in the photo but the sand dollar actually has the traditional sand dollar star shape embossed on it, which is very cute in person. I think it just finishes off the whole seen and I like how it looks as if she has been diving for 'treasures'. :)
Alrighty, be sure to check out the ATS blog for plenty more inspiration from my fellow teamies. They are rockin' this whole summer theme fo' sho'! LOL

Hello summer...
TGIF my friends!
I actually have today off from work with nothing pressing on the ol' to-do list so I'm feeling as free as a bird, LOL! The days have been creeping back up into the mid 80's and summer is definitely upon us now so I'm thinking I'll be enjoying some time outdoors. :)
And while it still may be a bit too early for me to go swimming in the lake, little Birgitta here sure looks like she is ready for a dip in the water. I made this card for the CC Designs preview over on the ATS blog earlier this week and I wanted to make sure that I shared it here as well. This new Birgitta is such a great addition to my collection of sweet summer themed stamps and how perfect is that new The Pier paper with her? As soon as I spied that popsicle print I knew I had a winner. The tag with the sentiment also came from one of the 12x12 papers in that collection, which I'm excited to say the ATS store are now carrying as well. I love cutting them up for fun accents and quick, easy sentiments on my cards.
Alrighty, I'm off to see what kind of trouble I can get myself into. ;)
See ya tomorrow when I'll have some princess winners to announce!
Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill and Copic X-Press It
paper- Crate (The Pier)
stamp- CC Designs (Birgitta with Popsicle)
ink- Memento tuxedo black and Colorbox creamy brown
ribbon

Kaiser Craft gems
Jenni Bowlin star gems

Princess party candy is sweet...
Hello and welcome to the fourth and final day of the June Sweet November previews!
It's that time of month when we leave the everyday behind and step into the magical world of Sweet November land. And this time we are not the only visitors to frolic in the forest glens and converse with all the whimsical characters that call Sweet November Land home... this month there are little princesses to be found there as well!
As we make our way to the hidden meadow it is surprising to find it decked out with brightly colored banners and streamers, as well as various quilted blankets spread out on the grass. A small princess is busily skipping from one spot to the next but she takes a moment to say hello when she sees us. Princess Margriet is so excited because she has been planning this very special princess party for ages. Now with the help of some forest friends, and a fairy or two, she has just put the finishing touches on the decor for this royal event. Of course we are all invited to attend and we are even given tiaras to wear so that we too can be princesses for a day. When Gwendolyn, Eleonore, and Williamina all arrive the princess party really starts hopping... or should I say twirling? Margriet is such a gracious hostess, with her attention to detail a day more girly and fun than this has rarely been seen. What a wonderful way to wrap up this month's visit to Sweet November Land. And as a parting gift Margriet has some sweet candy to give away... take a look...
The Margriet candy kit includes; one Sweet November Princess Margriet rubber stamp, ten 6x6 sheets of Basic Grey June Bug paper, Prima flowers and Kaiser Craft pearls, ribbon, twine, buttons, flower jewels, epoxy ladybug stickers, four envelopes, four card blanks and my card.
All you have to do for a chance to win the candy is leave a comment on this post. If you link to the candy on your own blog that is great and much appreciated but not a requirement... I want everyone to be able to play along. And when I say everyone, I mean everyone. I will ship the candy anywhere in the world so everyone is encouraged to play! :) The candy will stay open through Friday, June 7th and I will announce the winners on Saturday, June 8th.
Don't forget to check out the Sweet November Gals' blogs next! Tress and Nancy have got quite the pretty party going on! :)
Instead of using random generator I will be printing out names and tossing them in a hat SO if you leave a comment for the SN gals on there blogs, you will get extra names in the hat... this will up your chances of winning the candy. Fun, fun, fun!
Thanks so much for joining us for the entire Sweet November June release. Be sure to hop over to the ATS Blog today for even more SN Princess loveliness and another chance at winning the entire set of four princesses! And all of the new June stamps will be available for purchase tomorrow night in the All That Scraps store. :)

Sweet princess candy...
Hello and welcome to day three of the June Sweet November previews!
It's that time of month when we leave the everyday behind and step into the magical world of Sweet November land. And this time we are not the only visitors to frolic in the forest glens and converse with all the whimsical characters that call Sweet November Land home... this month there are little princesses to be found there as well!
Making our way to the edge of the enchanted forest another little princess literally runs right into us. Slightly out of breath she is relieved to see our group of friendly faces and introduces herself as Princess Williamina. Apparently she had taken a wrong turn into Sweet November Land and found herself in the neighboring spooky Halloween forest instead. Being such a small princess she was quite frightened by the characters she ran into there. Luckily, just before that crazy witch Hilda could cast a spell on poor Williamina, a quick flying little hummingbird who had followed the hapless princess zoomed in and distracted the witch long enough for Williamina to get away. He then proceeded to lead her Highness back to the borders of the enchanted forest and to safety. She is so grateful for her new friends help that she digs into the pockets of her flouncy, frilly gown and gives him some special princess candy as thanks. And being a generous young lady, Williamina also has some candy to share with one of the lucky crafters in our group as well... take a peek...
The Williamina candy kit includes; one Sweet November Princess Williamina rubber stamp, ten 6x6 sheets of Basic Grey Urban Prairie paper, Prima flowers and Kaiser Craft pearls, ribbon, twine, buttons, flower jewels, wood veneer birds, four envelopes, four card blanks and my card.

Prim and proper candy...
Hello and welcome to day two of the June Sweet November previews!
It's that time of month when we leave the everyday behind and step into the magical world of Sweet November land. And this time we are not the only visitors to frolic in the forest glens and converse with all the whimsical characters that call Sweet November Land home... this month there are little princesses to be found there as well!
Today's visit finds us in the enchanted forest where the flowering trees are still in bloom. Up above in the branches there are a number of birds chirping away. But the birds aren't the only ones singing a happy tune... petite Princess Eleonore is also lending her sweet voice to the chorus. Not only can this royal tot hit the high notes but she is also quite familiar with the various forest critters. Her gentle nature seems to draw the squirrels, rabbits, fawns, and other timid animals out of the woodwork. It is quite the sight to see. Eleonore and her animal entourage greet us warmly and we all settle in for a fun filled day of loving on furry and fuzzy forest friends. Eleonore also does her best to teach us one of her songs but my personal attempt at carrying a tune leaves a lot to be desired. Thankfully no chipmunks were scared away by my singing, LOL!
The only thing that could make this day any better is a bit of candy that Eleonore has to share, check it out...
The Eleonore candy kit includes; one Sweet November Princess Eleonore
rubber stamp, ten 6x6 sheets of Basic Grey Lemonade paper, Prima
flowers and Kaiser Craft pearls, ribbon, twine, buttons, flower jewels, wood veneer birds, four envelopes, four card blanks

Tress and Nancy have cards that the birds are singing about! :) Instead of using random generator I will be printing out names and tossing them in a hat SO if you leave a comment for the SN gals on there blogs, you will get extra names in the hat... this will up your chances of winning the candy. Fun, fun, fun!

Candy fit for a princess...
Hello and welcome to day one of the June Sweet November previews!
It's that time of month when we leave the everyday behind and step into the magical world of Sweet November land. And this time we are not the only visitors to frolic in the forest glens and converse with all the whimsical characters that call Sweet November Land home... this month there are little princesses to be found there as well!
Walking through a meadow of early summer flowers positively bursting with color we meet the demure Princess Gwendolyn. If we promise not to snitch, Gwendolyn will share her secret with us... early this morning she sneaked out of her parent's castle to come in search of fairies. So far she has only found butterflies to chase but with all of the magical tales she has been told she just knows a fairy has got to be out here somewhere. We tell her not to give up hope because we have met a few fairies here ourselves. Gwendolyn's eyes light up and she insists that we tell her all about our past enchanted encounters. So we settle down in the sweet grass and spend a lovely afternoon sharing stories with this sweet little princess who is hanging on our every word. And as the fairy stories continue our audience grows to include some of the very winged friends that we are talking about. Once we are finished we tell Gwendolyn to look closely at the daisy beside her and she squeals with delight when a tiny Fairwee waves and says hello.
This little princess is so happy to have finally found the fairies that she has some special candy to share. Take a look...
The Gwendolyn candy kit includes; one Sweet November Princess Gwendolyn rubber stamp, ten 6x6 sheets of Basic Grey Euphoria paper, Prima flowers and Kaiser Craft pearls, ribbon, twine, buttons, flower jewels, butterfly sequins, four envelopes, four card blanks and my card.

I love you...
Hey there!
Whoa, I just realized it is June 1st... hello summer! Once again I'm working through the weekend but it's all good. The sun is shining which always makes it feel like I have more time to enjoy after work when I get home in the afternoon/evening. I know it's totally a psychological thing because I have the same time in the winter as now but those extra hours of daylight make a big difference in both my attitude and productivity.
Speaking of productivity... I did get a card made yesterday and I just couldn't resist coloring up another one of the Pee Wee Designs May images. This little cutie is called You Make Me Smile and she really does just that. At first I thought I would go all girlie and pink with her but the new I Heart Summer collection was sitting on my desk and I couldn't resist its rainbow of colors. There are so many great sheets of paper to choose from but in the end I used a couple of prints from the 4x6 pad. I know they make these mostly for accents on scrapbook pages but I love them for my cards, I can cut them up and feel like I am actually using something completely up, LOL. Anywho, I really like how the bright colors give Smile a very playful look which I think suits the over-all look of the card.
Ok folks, time for me to scoot. I'll catch ya on the flip side! :)

A fairy happy hello...
Hello, hello!
Thanks for all the congrats on my new car. It's funny, this is my very first brand new vehicle and like Lisa mentioned in the comments yesterday, I do find myself coming up with all sorts of reasons to drive it around, LOL! And if I can't find any nice orange seat covers like Leanne suggested I'm sure I'll find something orange and happy to dangle from the rear view mirror. ;)
As for my card today, I had just received a couple of the new Tiddly Inks fairy stamps that I ordered and couldn't wait to ink one up. I chose Sunny Day this time and paired her up with some more great cloud paper, this one from Carta Bella. Needing some inspiration to put the card all together I headed on over to the Flutter By Challenge to see if I could play along. This week it is a recipe challenge to use flowers, at least one butterfly and a punch/die. I kind of ended up taking the challenge a step further by using a bunch of different dies to get the flowers and butterflies that I needed. I have collected so many great dies that it always feels good putting them to use... which I really should do more often. All in all, I really think this card came together quite nicely and I am very happy with it. :)
Well, I can't believe we are at another Friday already. At least this weekend should be a bit less crazy and we have some lovely sunshine once again in the forecast. Hopefully y'all are getting some sunshine too!
Later gators!

Sending smiles...
Good morning!
And a very good morning it is. Yesterday my sister convinced me to go back into town to look at cars again and guess what? I found one! It's a 2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek and I love it. So far I've nicknamed it W3 because that is the Copic color that it matches. I would have gone with an orange one if they'd had it but in the end I'll be rockin' the warm grey, LOL! ;)
Because my day ended up being much busier than I first anticipated I had to go a different direction than my usual cards when it came to making my review preview card. I stamped Josie and Jilly's Chat right on to the kraft cardstock and used the E40 family of Copics to give them some simple shading. I also played with the placement of the image by stamping only Josie on the front of the card and then adding Jilly into the center with their phone line extended using a Copic multiliner pen. Then I just layered some tags and tabs with a few small embellishments and called it good.
As always, there are plenty more Sweet November review preview cards to be seen over on the ATS blog today and all of the May stamps can be found in the All That Scraps store.
Later gators!
Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill

Elle's Studio Serendipity tags
Tim Holtz tiny attacher
Studio Calico wood veneer heart
Teresa Collins epoxy dots
Copic markers:

Hello sunshine...
Hello my friends!
Can you believe that I started making this card a whole year ago?! Apparently it had been forgotten in a small stack of doilies until I recently unearthed it... oy! I actually remember coloring Mermaid Lucy in the hospital the first or second week that my mom got sick. She was for last June's release reviews but amidst all that was going on Lucy kinda got lost in the shuffle. The papers are all American Crafts Shoreline that also came out last summer and I even had them all cut out and glued in place. All I really had to do to finish the card yesterday was add the gems and the little seagull silhouettes that I just cut out by hand.
I feel bad that it has taken this long for Mermaid Lucy to finally get her day in the sun but I suppose the old adage, better late than never, really does apply here. Perhaps I'll consider it a really late review preview, LOL! :)
Alrighty, TGIF to everyone... hope your weekend is wonderful!
Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill and Copic X-Press It

hair- BG1, BG13, BG09

Wonderful friend...
Hi Guys!
Sorry about my absence the last few days. I fell into a bit of a funk on Sunday and it carried into a loss of crafty mojo as well. It was the pits I tell ya, I had gotten some fun new things in the mail last week and not even they could entice me to get creative. I'm happy to report that things are a bit better now and I enjoyed some time in the craft room yesterday. :)
The card I made is for this week's review preview of the April Sweet November release. I chose to ink up Jilly and Emaline's Secret once again because I love how these two besties interact with each other. When it came time to choose some papers to go with them I actually found this card base that I had already glued the cute jar paper onto last summer but never got around to using. This seemed the perfect time to finally get it off my desk because how adorable do those mini Fairwees look with the large jars in the background? It was a lot of fun to then embellish each jar with random bits and bobs to add more color and texture. Yep, I think this one was just what I needed to help get my mojo back on track.
Now don't forget to hop on over to the ATS blog and check out all the fab cards my fellow teamies have come up with. And the April stamps can all be found here in the All That Scraps store.
Here's to wishing you a happy hump day. I'm off to get my hair trimmed up this morning... yeah!

You're amazing...
Howdy folks!
My mom had to stay in the hospital a bit longer so I'm going down today and hopefully I'll be taking her back home. Everything is still good, it's just taking her a bit longer to get back on her feet. I'm flirting with the idea of leaving early and checking out the new Hobby Lobby before heading over to the hospital, it seems a shame to keep being in town without popping by. :)
Anywho, it's another review preview day over on the ATS blog and my card features the new Mom image from Mashi's Muffins. I really adore this little cutie and the corresponding Dad stamp... now that I think about it, I may just have to make a card soon using both of them together. But I digress, for my card today I knew just the papers to pair up with Mom... I've been waiting for a chance to use this fun print from October Afternoon's Modern Homemaker paper pad and I really love it with her. Makes me wonder what she'll be cooking up in that kitchen of hers, LOL!
Be sure to check out the ATS blog for all sorts of review preview inspiration from the ATS team. And all of the April stamps kind be found right here!
Have a good one. :)

So tweet...
Hi there!
Today is my turn to take on the Make It Monday over at the ATS blog. It has been a while since my last coloring video so this seemed the perfect opportunity to get another one made. I've had a couple requests in the past to show how I colored the Love Birds stamp and with all the spring twitterpation going on outdoors this seemed the perfect time to ink them up again. I decided to make a change though and went for a more bluebird type of look this go round. You can check out the video here or on my Youtube channel.
As for the rest of the card, I knew that I was going to fussy cut the birds out and trim off the heart shaped leaves so that I could replace them with some Prima leaves. The pearls could be buds or berries... I haven't quite decided which yet, LOL. :)
Well things are busy, busy, busy so I'm gonna sign off. Thanks for coming by!

Lifetime of love...
Hi guys!
Can you believe we are getting ready for another weekend? I can't get over how fast this week has flown by... I think all of the excitement of April releases on top of a full work schedule are the cause.
So you may have already seen this card over on the ATS blog a couple days ago as I made it for the Li'l Lolita preview. Doesn't Willow make for a positively dreamy little bride? I was a bit worried when I started to put this card together because I didn't have any wedding papers or sentiment stamps. Shocking, I know, LOL! It finally dawned on me to raid my Valentine stash instead. I think the result turned out quite nicely and I used papers that I probably would have even skipped for actual Valentines so I'm calling it a win/win. ;)
Well, I've got another busy Friday ahead of me so I should go get ready for it. Don't forget that the chance to win the new Fairwees ends tonight, so leave comments if you haven't already. I'll be announcing winners here tomorrow!
Later gators!

An ATS Birthday Hop!
Hello and welcome to the All That Scraps 6th Anniversary Blog Hop!
I am so excited that you could join us in the celebration today. If you have arrived here from Jay Jay's blog you are right on track. If not, then hop on over to the ATS blog for a complete list of participants and a place to start all the fun!
All That Scraps is such a fabulous place to find all your stamping and scrapbooking needs, it's hard to believe that six years have flown by already. You can't beat the one stop shopping experience that ATS provides with all of the fantastic stamps, paper pads and other crafting essentials that they carry. I'm so proud to be a small part of this amazing company! :)
My card today features the super cute Balloon Peep stamp by CC Designs. Not only is Christine the illustrator of this fabulous range of stamps but she is also the owner/operator of the All That Scraps store. I think that she has created such a whimsical little cutie with this Peep that I really wanted him to be the star of the show. So I went super CAS with my design, masking off the chick and then stamping the fun, multicolored 'confetti' over and around him. That way, when I peeled away the mask it looked like it was falling behind him. A bit of ribbon and some added Stickles for sparkle and Balloon Peep was ready for his party.
Now you didn't think that we would be hopping without a prize did you? Well, if you visit and leave some love at each of the blogs in the hop one lucky commenter will win a $25 gift certificate to All That Scraps!
Thanks for stopping by, Christa is your next stop on the hop... have fun! :)
Supply list:
cardstock- Bazzill and Copic X-Press It
paper- Crate (Party Day)
stamps- CC Designs (Balloon Peep), Papertrey Ink (Birthday Style)

ribbon
Stardust Stickles
Sakura clear glaze pen
Copic markers:
