Custard Valentine

Today's card is one for my children, even though they are grown I love making them a special card for special occassions. They told me after Christmas when I sent them and everyone store bought cards that it just wasn't the same and they missed my cards because they treasure them. How sweet is that? So I hurriedly made them (and their significant others) a card to get in the mail tomorrow. I really love this cow called "Custard" from Sugar Nellie and I just got it in the mail. So had to ink him up and dirty him.... I hope you all enjoy him as much as I enjoyed making these.

Sarah Kay

I didn't get my new Dog Gone Stamps today but I did however get this and 3 other darling Sarah Kay Stamps. This little girl reminds me so much of my daughter when she was little I just had to have it. Forgive the coloring, I don't think it turned out the best but....here it is anyway. I am going to try to get my blog candy together and put it on sometime this week, just a hint I have asked Nancy with Dog Gone Stamps to donate some of her darling stamps and she said yes! So I just need to decide what else will be going with it and let you all know. Check back more later.

Mojo 72

My Mojo Monday card, I forgot to put the ribbon on and had it all glued down! I do that kind of thing all the time, get so focused on a couple of things get done and go "Wow I can't believe I forgot it". Anyway this is it for tonight, maybe I need to learn how to get everything out before putting the card together. What works for the rest of you? I would love to hear what triggers your memory or how you organize to, but then I will probably just feel a little more inadequate.... Haha Be sure to let me know anyway. Have a great night!

FS104 BevR

Today's submission for the Featured Stamper BevR. This card is the one I cased. The little bear is a Dog Gone Stamp you can check them out by the link on the right. They are coming out with some new stamps soon so be sure to check them out. They really have some fun and unique things. Ms. Bear is colored with prisma and gamsol and highlighted with sparkling H20's. You can see I actually sewed on this card something I have only tried one other time and it shows.... :( one side is much closer in the stitches than the other 3 but what can I say I need some more practice and now I think I will keep trying. I love that look, Ila at Artfully Ila does stitching on most of hers and I have always been envious. Anyway hope everyone has a spectacular week, see ya soon.

Valentine Pig

Wow can you believe it 3 posts in 3 days? I am back!!! Well today I worked on this cute little valentine pig from High Hopes, I made the cuts with my new cricut machine I got for christmas. I also used some Basic Grey paper that I fell in love with and just had to buy. I hope to get much use from it in the future. I am working on some wall words, but that hasn't gone the absolute best.... If anyone knows of any tips on that I would love to hear from you. I will let you know when I end up with some good ones to hang up. I have a fabulous saying though. Hope you all have a great week. (This photo was edited on 2/10/09 I touched up the pig somewhat with a deeper color as he was washed out so badly, then I added Twinkling H20's in addition to that to really pop him out some.)

Mrs. Bear

Isn't this little bear the sweetest little thing? She just makes me smile. I used my copics to color her in it was so fast and easy, then added the polka dots to her dress. She is another DogGoneStamps stamp.Thanks so much for dropping by and come see me again!

Valentine's

I have been busy making Valentine's for selling at work. I have just started making tear bears and haven't uploaded any pictures yet but will soon. I am using templates that were sent to me by khara on splitcoast stampers. If you haven't checked out splitcoast and you love paper crafts you really need to here is a link they have the best links for ideas on the web that I have ever found.
