Fashion Show

Another post devoted to Mallory's new clothes. There will probably one more after this, too.

Anneke's clothes

I used to put outfits together for Anneke, but she has other ideas about what to wear. Her gem of an outfit the other day was too much. I tried to tell her that it was too warm, so she needed to change her shirt. Not realizing what I was doing, Andy was very helpful and said, "No, it is pretty chilly out there. That should help her stay warm." So, she went to school looking like this. (Pink and brown striped shirt, flowered skirt, pink, red, blue and grey striped tights and Tinkerbelle light up shoes.) The picture doesn't do it justice. Really, I have realized I need to buy dark clothes so the stains don't show and plenty of tights and under shorts. It is a work in progress. Now, I think I need to make sure that no matter what her clothes will at least look decent together.

Red

I love the color red. It is my color. I am the red pieces when we play games. My children don't say "red" they say "Mom's color". Anyway, I have very few articles of clothing that are red. So, when Andy took me dress shopping (with HIS Christmas money) for our BIG date I was excited to find a modest red dress that I liked. I went with a cute black one instead. (If you click on the links they make them look more sexy and revealing than they really are, but you get the idea.) All week I have thought about that red dress. So, today I went back to get it. It was on super sale for less than $30 and I was so excited. I also found a shrug to go with my original purchase. While I was in line to buy the dress I noticed gaps in the seam where the thread had come loose. I couldn't find my size in that style. So, no red dress. I am very sad. I don't even have a red shirt. Oh, well.
