Pink Post

Een roze bericht deze keer! Allereerst had ik nog beloofd om het eindresultaat van dit buikkastje van mijn dochter te laten zien… Zo kochten we hem een aantal weken geleden bij de “Second hand shop”

A pink post this time! At first I promised to show you the final result of the little cupboard we bought at the “Second hand shop” for my daughter. This is how he looked a few weeks ago.

En na een precies verfwerkje door mijn dochter…

And after some nice painting by my daughter…

Is dit hem uiteindelijk geworden! Hij staat inmiddels op haar slaapkamer, die met de komst van dit kastje ook even flink opgeruimd is.

This is the final result! He has found a place in her bedroom already and with that extra space her room has been cleared up at the same time.

Deze roze schelpen heb ik al een aantal jaren en zo tegen de zomer haal ik ze weer tevoorschijn om mee te decoreren. Maar ik heb nu maar eens een krans van gemaakt.

These pink shelves I have for quite a long time and at summertime they appear again to decorate with. But now I used them for making a wreath.

Nadat alle schelpen, met behulp van het lijmpistool, waren vastgeplakt op de strokrans heb ik er met witte spuitverf een zweem overgespoten. Daardoor is de roze kleur net iets zachter geworden.

After sticking all the shelves on the wreath with a “glue-pistol” I sprayed them a little white with paint. That white spray gives the pink shelves a soft look.


De roze kunstbloemen, die ik in de loop van de tijd bij elkaar heb gesprokkeld, heb ik in een witte kan gezet en zo gecombineerd met de schelpenkrans. Met nog wat andere accessoires is het een leuk (roze) hoekje op de salontafel geworden.

The pink art flowers, I gathered in the course of time, I put in a white can and combined them with the wreath of shelves. Together with some other accessories I made a nice (pink) corner on the table.
