Pink Cheeks

this last week 

these snowy nights and days

I have taken up a tiny sketchbook 

creating tiny characters

I like to call them evening meditations

Dreaming

she wanted to be an elf

she heard rumors that there was elf blood in her lineage

most certainly elf spirit

drawn to the colors of the forest 

she dressed like a tree

and 

autumn colors

even though it is spring
