happenings....

salt lake county fair with kylee, zack and nixon...dust on our feet and the smell of deep fried foods...who can pass that opportunity up!? we had a blast!

maybe even a little too much fun....on saturday billy and i celebrated four years of marriage...we left the little one with some friends...thanks jessica!!! and we dashed off...we began our celebration here...we did a little driving and some bus riding....and landed here...where we listened to the sounds of the utah symphony to the tunes of a little led zeppelin...it was quite the evening...and dare i say we may just start using the whole babysitter concept a little more often from here on out...

four years....

four years ago today....

today....i wouldn't change one minute...

billy planned our evening last night...and he did an amazing job!

we ended up at snowbird...

we took the tram to the very top peak...

and this is what we saw in every direction....

after the breath taking views we headed down to grab some dinner on the outdoor patio at the steak pit overlooking the creek...

love my hubby....and its more and more apparent every day that i made the right decision with this one...we have grown together...not apart over the last three years and i am loving more and more the man that he is becoming....

celebrating....

so today is the day billy and i celebrate three years as a married couple. i am so excited and feel so blessed to spend the rest of my years and eternity with my man...i love you babe! (sorry to get mushy...but it had to be said)

i also think it's oh so exciting that we get to welcome the third member of our family this year! yay for the year of threes!

lucky number 50...

today i realized how lucky i am to have a husband who still opens my car door for me, after almost three years of marriage :) (hopefully i'll still be lucky when we are celebrating 50!)

last weekend bb and i could be found road tripping up to idaho falls...it was lindsey's bridal shower! the wedding is only two months away!

on our way home from idaho bb and i decided that someday it might be nice to own a cabin up the alpine loop in utah....can you blame us for wanting to wake up to this view...?

too tired to eat chocolate...

today is the official three year anniversary of bb's proposal...

he proposed on good friday, right before midnight...

he hid the ring in one of these little babies....

our courtship took place over a series of months switching off between idaho falls and salt lake city...

i went up to idaho for easter weekend....

he lied to me and said the ring wouldn't be in for two more weeks...

i was hoping that he was lying but didn't want to get my hopes up....

he was so excited that he couldn't even wait til the morning to ask me....

i was zonked...and completely oblivious....

he had to eat the chocolate easter eggs himself because i was too tired for chocolate...

he asked me to unwrap one for him...

still oblivious....i handed the unwrapped egg back...

he asked me to open it...

subsequently thought...oh my gosh...seriously?

pulled out the ring...and thought to myself....too tired to eat chocolate...of all the nights to be too tired to eat chocolate!!!!!

bb popped the question...even though he already knew my answer...and we all know the ending to this little story....
