At the Beach

 

First visit to a beach since my birthday in September. I am healing! Written with my husband’s walking stick. Not ready to bend down and use a rock or shell. Pavilion Beach, Ipswich, Massachusetts.

A Belated WInter Solstice post

Joy was written in the sand at Wells, Maine on my seventieth birthday.

A New Day

 The timing was perfect yesterday. I was able to go to Plum Island to write in the sand at low tide and then watch the inauguration. Today I wrote out the concluding lines of Amanda Gorman's amazing poem "The Hill We Climb."

Beach Therapy

Last Friday, I relieved my news-induced anxiety by going to Plum Island at low tide and writing in the sand. I hope that some small amount of the beautiful energy I felt there comes through to you in the photographs.
