A few cards to share

I haven't completely abandoned my blog although it did seem like it for a while! Here are a few cards I have made recently.

The stamp I used for this card is Morning Glory from Technique Tuesday.

Another Valentine

This is another simple Valentine card using punches and die cuts. I don't remember which set the 'love' came from but the sentiment is from 'Love Letters' a clear set by Inkadinkado.

Happy New Year

I am back with my first post of the new year. I have been making cards and sets for a fundraiser for my nephew's JROTC. These cards need to be inexpensive so most are CAS. I love doing CAS cards but I am running out of new ideas!

This card is pretty much self explanatory. The open heart is from a Cuttlebug die and I used a punch for the patterned heart. The hearts were glued together and then raised with dimensional tape. I punched out a lot of hearts from scraps to use for Valentine cards.

I used the same stamp for this card. sorry It came with a bundle of unmounted stamps that I bought either from Hampton Arts or My Sentiments Exactly. I punched the hearts from a small scrap I had left from a Basic Grey pad. The larger hears are glued directly to the card and the smaller ones are raised with dimensional tape.

On a roll!

After not making any embossed cards for a while I had to make another one. It is very addicting! This is a card I made to send to a friend for Easter.

For this card I used Mattie Open Passe-partout EH 1835 The cross is a digi stamp but I don't remember where I got it. After coloring with Prismacolor pencils and Tupenoid I cut out the picture and mounted it with dimensional tape. The greeting is computer generated.

CASE

In my Yahoo group, Card Camp, we have one day a week where a card is chosen and we CASE it. It is just for fun and members have come up with some great cards!

                                           

This is the first card I did which is quite similar to the card I CASE ed. The image was stamped on a piece of scrap DP and colored with pencils and Turpenoid.

For the second card I did I used all scraps! The vertical strip was cut from a tag from a pack of Basic Grey DP and the hearts were punched from the same tag.The greeting is an unmounted stamp that I got in a bulk buy and the tiny hearts were also cut from the tag.

Fall into Autumn

This card is for another swap. It is so much prettier in real life than in the picture. I used a gold metallic CS for the mat. I stamped the tree with Versamark ink and embossed it with detail gold embossing powder. The stamp is from a clear set I bought at Michaels.
