Addicted to CAS - Animal

Well another two weeks gone by and still under the shelter in place order!  I'm ready for this to be done, but must do what is needed for the welfare of all!

We do have a new challenge starting over at Addicted to CAS!  Our theme for this challenge is Animal.  Perfect timing for me as I just made a card for my friend Barb and she loves dogs.  Here's my take on the challenge...

I simply stamped the image, then colored it with Copics.  A quick little card, but so sweet.

Less is More - Color Challenge

Expecting a wet and soggy day today...so more time to create indoors!

We have a new challenge starting over at Less is More.  Our theme for this challenge is a Color Challenge:  Red Raspberry and Grey. Such a beautiful combination.

Here's my take on the challenge...

This is a super fun card to make.  I started by stamping circles to the background of this card and using clear embossing powder (hard to see in the photo).

I then colored my little guy and popped him up on some craft foam. 

Super simple and fun!

Less is More - Off Center

Just trying to dry off a bit after a few days of rain.  At least I can hit the tennis courts today...yeah!

Addicted to CAS - Birthday

Finally fall has arrived....yeah!  I've been enjoying the weather, but can't believe that it is already November.  Gotta crank out those Christmas cards.

In the meantime, we have another challenge starting over at Addicted to CAS!  Our theme is Birthday...just because we are getting closer to Christmas doesn't mean we don't need more birthday cards. And Addicted to CAS is celebrating our 7th Birthday!

Less is More - Winter Flora

Finally....it is cooling down a bit.  We've had a bit of a heat wave this week...but not too bad as it does cool down overnight.  Though, I'm ready for the fall weather.

Wow...it is almost Halloween!  Can't believe this month is flying by.  Gotta go buy some candy this week.  Hoping that we have lots of little visitors.

Another beautiful weekend.  The sun will be shining, the tennis courts are calling and so is my dog!

Less is More - Celebration

Another busy week...but always have time for another challenge.  Today we are starting a new challenge at Less is More!  Our theme for this week is Celebrations!  Doesn't get better than that...we can always find something to celebrate!

I'm a HUGE fan of the Stamping Bella stamps and this one is no exception.

I also love bright colors so to combine these two thing is a celebration within itself!

Addicted to CAS - Heat

Another beautiful day...just back from a month long trip to Switzerland and managing to get back into being home.  Lots to do and take care of ... but always find some time to take my puppy for a long morning walk.

We have another challenge starting today at Addicted to CAS.  Our theme is Heat.  Here's my take on the challenge...

My little guy is suffering from a bit of a fever and is trying to enjoy a little cup of hot cocoa. 

Also, I heat embossed the sentiment.  So all in all a bit of a different take on the code word...but hey...gotta shake things up a bit!

What a terrific start to the summer...a little surprise from my husband and I'm taking full advantage of it!  Thank you wonderful husband.

I love this fun stamp from My Favorite Things...I've been eyeing this little guy for awhile and finally decided to purchase it.  I colored this bad boy using my copic markers and added a bit of color with the speech bubble.  Super fun!

We are getting closer to the summer...can't believe it is almost here!  Where did the time go?? We have another challenge starting today at Addicted to CAS.  Our theme for this week is Graduation...yes, it is already that time of year again!

I recently picked up this sweet image from no other than Stamping Bella and had so much fun working with this one.  So many fun ways to color this little Odd Ball. I used my Copics and added a bit of color and celebration on the right hand side of the card!

Another nice relaxing weekend on tap...little time on the courts, time with the husband and time with the puppy!  Super fun!

Using my favorite Odd Ball characters from Stamping Bella---which are just the best!  This one in particular is so funny---she just cracks me up!

I stamped this little sweetheart and colored her with Copics.  I added a few silver stars to give her a little pop and done!  Super fast and easy!

Wow, can't believe it is May already.  Where has the time gone.  We are well into Spring and just enjoying the weekend.

We have a new challenge starting over at Addicted to CAS.  Our theme for this challenge is Horizon.  This was a bit fun for me to figure out what to go with...so I decided to make this interpretation of the challenge.  Here's what I came up with...

I used this fun Stamping Bella image, as both of these cutie's are searching the Horizon!  I simply stamped the image and used my Copic markers to color them in.  Super fun!

Adjusting to being back on the mainland after a fun and relaxing week in Hawaii.  Vacation is always great, but coming home to the puppy is fun too!

We have a new challenge starting over at Addicted to CAS.  Our theme for this challenge is Contrast.  There are so many fun options with this challenge.

Here's my take on the theme...

I wanted to go with something a bit fun and use some stamp sets that haven't seen the light of day lately.  I used these fun monster stamps and found a little round monster along side a tall skinny one.  Thought this would be perfect for the challenge!

It's lining up to be a busy weekend...but am able to fit in a bit of fun with tennis, the dog and the husband.  All is good!

Also, we have another challenge starting over at Addicted to CAS.  I'm hosting this one and I selected Humor for the theme.  I have so many fun cards to choose from, but ended up settling on this one.  Here's what I came up with...

I just love these Odd Ball images from Stamping Bella.  She has the best attitude, and she makes me laugh.

A simple stamp of the image along with my Copic markers quickly makes this CAS card.

What a beautiful day...a bit cold to start off the morning walk, but it quickly warmed after a round of tennis!  Then lunch at home with the hubby---after a bit of yard work!


We have another challenge starting today at Addicted to CAS.  The theme for this week is Green. I went a little different here and focused my green on this card...I mean, who won't want green hair!
