Hard Work

I just think this is funny.  I didn't think it was necessary to fully paint behind the fridge because you would NEVER see it - Juston thought otherwise :)

Thankfully (up until today) Jackson has been SOOO good.  He has been content just playing in the exersaucer or taking a nap.  Today, not so much.  He wasn't having any of it so I didn't really get anything done.

We are getting close to being done with paint.  We have to put the top coat on the cabinet doors and frames, paint the back sides of the cabinet doors, edge the upstairs hallway and laundry room, and finish Jackson's stripes.  Hopefully that list will be done soon!  We start tiling tomorrow and I am SOOOO excited for that!!

This is hard....

Game on is really really hard for me this week.  We are trying to get so much done with our house.  It is hard to think about getting enough sleep, blogging, taking vitamins, eating enough veggies and calories....ah.  I'm ready to be done with this round.

Juston decided to stay at the house tonight so he could stay up later working.  I will admit, I'm really jealous.  I know it is a good decision on our part, but I'm still jealous.  Soon enough we will all be sleeping there....soon enough.....

Painting Away.....

We are painting, painting, and more painting.  I was going to post pictures of the work being done but I don't have time for them to upload.  Just know the house is basically in shambles at the moment.  I am feeling overwhelmed with everything that we have decided to take on.  Let me just list what we are doing: painting the cabinets white (the prep work for this took almost the whole day yesterday), painting the WHOLE house (and we have a really tall and awkward entry), painting all of the doors and door frames, tiling the bathrooms and kitchen and master closet, and getting the garage ready for a preschool.  So far we have gotten one bedroom 100% done.  We are almost done with the other two bedrooms.  They just need stripes on one wall.  The fronts of the cabinets have primer and one coat of paint.  The cabinet frames have primer (we grossly underestimated how much paint we would need so we ran out super fast).  The bottom color is almost done - it just needs to be touched up in a few spots.  The main color is on the walls everywhere.  It just needs another coat (maybe two in some spots).  So we've gotten a lot done.

What we still need to do: extra coats on the main color, tile, doors and frames, stripes, paint master closet, finish painting hall bathroom, paint laundry room, paint garage and set up preschool.

Basically we still have a LOT left to do.  I am feeling really overwhelmed at the moment.  It doesn't help that we ran out of materials so we were kind of at a stand still.  Hopefully we can get a lot done tomorrow. If anyone wants to come help we would REALLY REALLY REALLY appreciate it.
