I've been looking for budget friendly bench options for a client, and I came across this pretty bench (unfortunately this style is too deep for my client's space):

They say the color is "champagne" but I would call it "mushroom" - I've been loving that color lately! Not quite grey, not quite brown. This would be beautiful in a bedroom at the end of the bed.

Friday Find (& Look For Less!)

This week's Friday Find is also a "Look For Less". It reminds me of this coffee table from one of my favorite furniture companies, NOIR:

This desk is new at West Elm, and I came across it via Pinterest. It's so sculptural and cool! Perfect for when your work space is out in a main area.

I will always and forever have a love affair with west elm. :)

Friday Find: Adjustable Pewter Sconce

Restoration Hardware Kids is one of my unconventional sources for pretty pieces that are a bit less expensive than the regular Restoration Hardware. And when you hit their sales, you can usually find some great deals!

I love this adjustable wall sconce that is currently on sale:

And it's currently on (final) sale for $99.99! (Note- the finish in the pictures looks gold, but I think it's more of a true silvery pewter color).

Friday Find: Linen Drapery Sheer

I really love a good drapery sheer. I recently posted this picture and took note of the rug, but then I noticed the curtains, and I love them!

I came across these pretty drapery sheers from JCP of all places. I love that the fabric is linen and cotton instead of polyester (which is what you often find with ready made sheers).

I actually ordered some of these right before the photoshoot thinking I would put them up. But I misread (or didn't read at all) the product info and thought they came in pairs.. and when only three panels showed up at my door when I needed 6 I had to forgo them.

But it was nice to see them in person, the color and fabric is great for inexpensive, ready made drapes.

I believe they also come in pole pocket, but I like the casualness of the grommet. I'll definitely be remembering these for the future!

 I love that it looks like trim (even though it's definitely not). And I'm really intrigued by their new curtain treatment that works with pins: 

I wonder if it creates pleats in the front.... 

I may have to go to IKEA soon to check these out in person!

Today's Friday Find is a pair of dining chairs that are majorly on sale right now!

A set of two is available at World Market for only $160! 

I'm a big fan of rattan chairs in a dining room, if they have a good shape to them, and these chairs definitely do! I love the curved back.

I think the World Market chairs would especially look great spray painted in white or black or even a fun color :)

I got a catalog from Ballard the other day and it had information about a sale on the front. I came across this round "storage" ottoman:

I love the pleated skirt, and it's great that there is a shelf below that you can use to store things.

And I was really surprised at the price... a linen/cotton blend fabric is only $507 (and that's before the 15% off sale they are having right now). That is a great buy!

I actually sent it to a client this morning to see if she would like it :)

I am obsessed with this new rope chandelier from West Elm. It looks so much more expensive than it really is! The price is $250


Even the canopy is wrapped! It's all about the details...


There is a fine line between "casual cool" and "beach-themed", and I definitely think this chandelier stays on the "casual cool" side thanks to it's modern shape.

I can honestly say West Elm is one of my all time favorite stores and I probably buy at least one thing there for every single client. (and no they aren't paying me to say this). Every time they come out with new stuff, I think man... their designers are ON IT. They need to send some of those designers over to Pottery Barn and Restoration Hardware, but that's a different story.... ;)

West Elm is having a 15% off bedroom furniture sale right now, and I am in love with this lacquered nightstand!!





It's currently on sale for $211. Crazy good price. I'm getting a pair for a client STAT.

It reminds me of Chelsea Textiles lacquered pieces, which are in the thousands.





I L-O-V-E West Elm. Seriously I think I use them one way or another for every single project I do.

I know what you're probably thinking.... enough with the World Market! And they probably SHOULD be paying me with as much as I post about them (they don't btw).

However, I had to share this one with you. When I saw it, I was shocked at the price. It looks SO much more expensive than it is and it's BEAUTIFUL!







It's currently on sale for $360! Crazy.

I would snatch it up in a second if I had a place to put it..... I think it'd be especially great in a bedroom.

It reminds me of something you'd see in a Kristen Panitch space.

It's been a while since I checked out Premier Prints so I was pleasantly surprised to see they have a new designer collection. These purple prints are my favorite!

There are many gourd lamps to be found out there, but the shape of this one feels more expensive-looking to me.

Friday Find: Screen Turned Headboard

I owe this Friday Find to Pinterest. This screen from World Market (yes, World Market again) popped up on my Pinterest page:



And I thought.... HEADBOARD! I've been wanting a headboard for the guest room, well, since we moved in. And I've been coveting this look for a loooong long time since this was published in Cottage Living (probably in 2007 or 2008?)



I remember looking into buying the screen/headboard used in this feature. It was from Ballard (I don't think they have it anymore) and was around $600.

Anyway, I can't believe the World Market one looks so similar! And it was $200. Yes!!

It's very new, just got into stores this week and I think the color on their site is incorrect. The screen is actually natural linen colored, not ivory like they say on the site. I thought maybe they had two colors, but the SKU numbers are the same.

And here it is in my guest room:





It turned out that the headboard, Euros and bed skirt are all the same color. But I actually like it!

Next on my list for this room are dark bamboo shades and an awesome bolster pillow. I'm also going to spray paint the lamps glossy white.

If you need an inexpensive headboard, this is a great option! :)

I'm thinking of starting a new series called Friday Find. Although let's be honest, whenever I start a "series", I'm not the best at continuing them. BUT I think this one has potential..? I always come across good budget friendly pieces when looking for clients and I like to share them with you.

Today's find is this wheat colored wing back from World Market:



Upholstery fabric can make or break a budget-friendly piece, and this chair has great fabric. I like the warm neutral a lot (it's not too yellow), and it feels like a linen/cotton blend.
