Happy First Birthday Tavi!

Today was my niece's FIRST BIRTHDAY. :) Octavia Pearl (Tavi) was born one year ago today, and can't believe how fast her first year went! Above is her Birthday card I made her using the SU! Set Crazy for Cupcakes. The cupcakes were colored in with Copic Spica Glitter pens (I got both sets at CHA!) The pattern paper is from DCWV (The Sweet mat stack).

Then these are the yummy confetti cupcakes I made for the party (yes I can bake a little!) Who doesn't love a little Elmo on their cupcakes??? :-)

Sorry ~ Couldn't resist! When I saw Nina's latest Gina K Set Heartily Yours, I knew I needed to have it just for the above sentiment (but yes, I do love the entire set), But I love my James Taylor tunes, anytime, any day!

Anyhow, I decided to use the new set for this week's MOJO Monday Sketch! I used GIna K Chocolate Kiss, SU! Regal Rose, and Basic Grey BIttersweet DP for my color combination. The heart brad is also from Basic Grey.

Gotta go start packing! I'm going to CHA this weekend with some of my friends on SCS! Can't wait! :-)

I got some time to stamp this weekend and play with one of Melanie's new Gina K sets, Square Pegs. I love this new set, I used her companion set, Hip To Be Square with it. The bottom image (frame) is from the Hip To Be Square set, I masked each square and stamped the heart from the Square Pegs image using Real Red and Regal Rose. I then stamped the XOXOXO image (also from Square Pegs) in the same two colored, and layered them on top of the scallop squares. I keep forgetting how fun and easy the Marvy Scallop punches are, as I usually am reaching for my nestabilites or some other punch tool! The hearts were stamped, cut out and popped up. I'm equally excited about my ribbon bow - first try! I usually avoid ribbon bows because I can never get them quite right. the DP underneath the ribbon is from a SU! Prints Pack from last year (or the year before).

Inktegrity Blog Hop Coming Soon!

Here's another TGF 12 Days of Sketches Card, Football Ian! He's all ready for bowl season! I love the designer paper with the little footballs on it, I found it at Archiver's a few months ago. It's from Got Moxxie and it's from the Grid-Iron line. I just think the distressed look is so cool! :) Totally rugged like football should be!

Birthday Ian

Hello Everyone!

Been a pretty busy crafter over the weekend and wanted to share one of the twelve cards I made for The Greeting Farm's 12 Days of Sketches! This was one of their free digi's awhile back, that they gave away on the Splendid Stamping Blog, Birthday Ian. This was one of my favorites that I did! :) The DP is retired from SU (from waaaaaaay back when they first started selling DP - remember single-sided for $5.95???) The image was colored with Prismacolor Markers.
