Looking for a unique image or sentiment?

Well then! Welcome to Scribbles Designs. And welcome to Sandy's world of her funky imagination and quirky characters. Sandy's has had a pencil in her hand since she was "knee-high to a grasshopper" and started on her artistic journey with her first family ball & stick figures portrait at age 3. We'll have to find the piece of work in the family history trunk and post it...

Sandy has loved art, drawing, and doodling for many years... and with the digital image world she can now share it with all of you. Brrr (Penguin) was her first main character and her other quirky images followed not long after. We hope you enjoy the enduring images and look around and add Sandy's images to your digital stamp collections!

Freebie Friday: Leaves Digi Paper

Hello and happy Friday to all our Freebie Fans!

Yesterday it officially became Fall here in the northern hemisphere and to celebrate this beautiful and colourful season's arrival, I have made you a digi paper using a trio of leaves that Sandy offered up as a freebie back in October of 2014. I'm including the original freebie here in this post as well, just in case you are new to the blog and don't have it.

The leaves can also be found in the store HERE.

Here is a preview of the paper...

Another creation under the Scribble Doodle Designs label! I coloured each of the leaves and then saved them separately so that I could space them out evenly throughout the paper. This free paper is six inches by six inches (1800 pixels x 1800 pixels)--the perfect size for card making!  It is in jpg format and published at 300 dpi. Credits include:  HG Designs; Stachoo Scraps and of course, Scribbles Designs. To grab today's offering, click the download button to be taken to a download location. In the zip folder you will find a copy of the creation, the preview sheet, the full credit information and the Scribble Doodle Designs terms of use which are standard to all of our folders.

Well that is it for this one! I hope that you enjoy today's offering.

Please join us tomorrow over on the Challenge blog for our final Guest Designers Showcase for the third quarter. Then, be sure to pop by again next Friday for another Freebie here at Scribbles!

Until then,

Freebie Friday : Two for One

Oh my gosh I can not believe I forgot to post my card for last week! So to apologise I have got two images for you this week! I have been getting into the autumn spirit, I have pulled my winter coat out of the closet and the hat and scarves have also come out out as well. But as promised, do you remember me saying that I was going to dress up as Dr Who for Halloween (which feels like ages ago) well here is the picture of my team at work. I'm on the far left.

It was such a fun day at work and we won the prize for best dressed! Any way on to this weeks images. Like I said I have two for you this week. So here they are!

I started by printing these guys off on to some printer paper and then traced them onto some water colour paper. Using my Tim Holtz pens I coloured them in, I tried to make sure you could see what colour pens I used.

Once I finished faffing with them I just kept adding layers of colour until Ii was happy with the look and then I cut them out.

Aren't they pretty! I forgot to take a picture of Hoot before I cut him out but here is a picture of the colours I used on him.

Once I got everything cut out it was just a matter of sticking everything down. I did once last check over where I wanted everything to go.

Then I stuck everything down and viola my finished card!

I love how this turned out and it has definitely turned out how I picture in my head! I hope that you guys have a fab weekend and I shall see you again next week!

Stay Crafty

Freebie Friday: Leaves

Welcome to another Freebie Friday!  I hope your day is going awesome....  I found this image to be quite versatile as I thought of a couple of themes to use it.

It is the same image over at the challenge blog so it could give you an opportunity to enter the challenge!

Although the sentiment is small, it adds a wonderful accent to the card.
It says... This is your life, seize it and make it amazing...
So I hope you might just do so... make your day amazing...
