Yet another cupcake!

This card made my mouth water while I was making it! It's from an idea by Jolene at Pieces of Me - with my own special touches! I used a gold corrugated card for the base of the cake, and cut white glitter card for the top icing. I then put some very fiddly tiny pieces of coloured glitter card as the 'hundreds and thousands' on the white icing! I used my nestabilities for the scalloped circle and the actual circle - finding some lovely pieces of backing paper from my stash for the background. And then a heart and some handcut leaves for the top! Mmmmmmmmmm!!!

Cupcake Anyone?

This is my first attempt at a cupcake card and I have to thank Valita's Designs and Fresh Folds for the idea and pattern! The base of the card uses a top folded pale brown card, overlaid with vellum run through a crinkler! I've done direct to paper with an adirondack ginger inkpad to create the 'baked' look. Then three layers of different coloured yummy icing are overlaid on top of each other (all with different textures created by my spellbinder wizard machine), plenty of glitter is added, a cherry is punched from a one inch circle punch and covered with Glossy Accents for shine - then it is all rounded off with an attached ribbon and sentiment! Mmmmmmmmm!!
