Stamp Scrap Doodle Saturday Spring Has Sprung.

Happy Saturday,
As you are reading this I will be learning how to use Essential Oils to increase my energy and relieve my shoulder pain. I am a Young Living Independent Distributor. I have never sold one bottle but I love to use the oils. I need to work on my selling skills. LOL They really are wonderful! If you are interested in learning more about essential oils please let me know.
We have a fun and easy challenge for you this week at Stamp, Scarp and Doodle Saturday. We would like to see your spring creations. I use a new Wax Fruit Company image.
This image is called "Tulips" and I put them in the image called "Ball Jar" using PSE.  I used two SP & Company sets for the sentiment that is hiding behind the bow. It says "Sending You Spring." I colored the image with Copic markers. The little white pearls around the image were made with a Viva Decor Pearl Pen. The ones in the corners are Hero Arts.
So now it is your turn. Be sure to check out what the other DT's have for you and post your creations. We only had 7 people last week. That is lowest ever. Head over to SSDS and see what Regina has lined up for you for a prize. I am looking forward to seeing all your creations.

Have a wonderful Saturday!

By LORi Design and A Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 98

Today was fun. I was home all day with no car and no people to take me away from playing in my craft room.  Most of my day was spent playing with my Cricut.  I wanted to try out some of the new cartridges that I bought at CricutMachine.com. They have wonderful prices on cartridges. Many are $16.95 and for 48 hours they had like 60 at $14.95. I just couldn't pass up that deal. They still have cartridges at that price.
I did completed one card.  This is Lollipop-Tanner from  By LORi Design. I colored him a week ago and this is the first chance I had to make a card. I used the Sweet Sunday Sketch for the layout.
The sentiment is from SP and Company. The paper is from my big scrap file. I used a MS boarder punch and three SU punches for the sentiment. It feels so good to be making birthday cards and building up my supply again.
Be sure to stop back on Thursday.  I will have all the info on our very first By LORi Design Challenge You still have time to apply for a position on the design team. You can read about that here.

I am off to do some coloring.

Scrapmaster's Paradise Color Combo #81

Happy New Year! and Welcome to Scarpmaster 's Paradise Color Challenge #81
Here are the colors for this week.
Here is the card I made using SP and Company stamp sets; Ultimate Sentiments I and The Cutest Gingerbread Man stamp set.
I used all the Gingerbread smiling faces for the background and the face. The sentiment says "Sending You Smiles." I am sorry the picture isn't too good. It looked great when I was working with it in Photo Shop but not so good here.
The clown was cut from Simply Charmed at about 2.5 inches. I hid the face and used one of the gingerbread smiles to create the clown face.  I wanted a bright cheer up card that would lift the spirit of someone feeling down.
I hope you will join in on the color challenge. Be sure to check out what the other DT's and Samantha have for you over at SPCC.
Have a great Monday and...

Scrapmaster in Pardise Color Challenge

Wow, what a busy weekend. One more family Christmas celebration today, and I get to see my beautiful little granddaughter.  So while I am celebrating I hope you will find time to join in on SP Color Challenge this week.
This weeks colors are:
Here is the card I came up with.
The background is River Rock but is sure doesn't look like it in my picture. The tree was cut with my newest Cricut Cartridge called Simply Charmed. I just love this cartridge. There are so many cute cuts. The sweet sentiment is from SP and Company called Ultimate Sentiments I. I love this set. I have it sitting on my desk all the time because I use it so much. Look at these wonderful sentiments.
They are perfect with many Cricut Cuts.

Please join us this week at SP and Company for our color challenge and be sure to check out the wonderful prizes. Take a few minutes to read about all the new and exciting news going on over there.

Cute Gingerbread Man Topper

I don't know about you but I am way to busy to spend time on the computer. I just wanted to show you this cute bag topper I made for a gingerbread men cookie.  I used The Cutest Gingerbread Man set from SP & Company to make the topper for the bag.
I have been working on these cookies for days. They take a lot of time to get them mixed, chilled, cut out, cooked and decorated. I made 5 dozen. Four dozen are for a cookie exchanged I am going to attend.
Today we may be putting my mother in law in a nursing home for two weeks.  She is doing much better but she is not ready to go home. Thank you for keeping her in your prayers. It has been helping.
Be sure to stop by SP & Company. Samantha has a lot of exciting news.

The Cutest Gingerbread Man!

Hi I have a fun card for you today. The image and sentiment are from SP & Company.  The set is called the Cutest Gingerbread Man. You know when you have a great image because the card is so easy to make.
I stamped the gingergread man on Creamy Caramel CS, cut him out, used some gel pens to color the accents. Then I took some foil paper and my Classic Scalloped Rectangle Nesties to cut out the tray. The DP is from a holiday pack.  I know I could have done more to this card but when you see what it can do you will know why I didn't need to do more. Next I made this card interactive. I used Wobbles to attach the Gingerbread Man.
Watch this:
I got the Wobbles free when I signed up at their Facebook page. These are the neatest things for cards. They were the perfect thing for this cute little Gingerbread Man. As soon as I saw him all I could think of was "run, run as fast as you can." Now he looks like he is running. This card is going to my granddaughter. I hope it makes her giggle.  Her grandfather sure laughed when I showed him how it worked.

Samantha is coming out with more wonderful stamps be sure to keep watching.  This is my first card with this set and I love it. Here is what the set looks like.

Look at all those faces and wonderful sentiments. The faces would be great with your Cricut cuts.

I hope you enjoyed my card today and thanks for stopping,

Scrapmaster's Paradise Stamps

I am so excited! I have been on Scrapmaster's Pardise Color Challenge Design Team for a while now. About a month ago Samantha asked me if I would like to be on her design team for her new stamp company. I was so excited.
Then about a week ago four wonderful SP stamp sets showed up in my mail box. I can't tell you how awesome these stamps are. The stamp sets are made of high quality clear photopolymer. They stamp so nice and clean. I love being able to see just were I am stamping.
OK now here is the card...

This is my favorite card every. This is from a set called "Christmas Emma." I stamped Emma and colored her with Copic markers then I made her into a shaker card by filling a pocket I made with Polar Ice Flower Soft. I used my nestiblility and recycled a clear Cricut box to create the pocket. I thought the sentiment went perfect with the image. The set comes with four perfect sentiments and three great images. You will be seeing more cards made by me with this set. I just love it.
Did you remember the candy canes from yesterday's card? They came from this set.
Be sure to check out what the other DT's did with their sets.
I know I will be making more card with this set.

This card also work for:
Secret Crafter - sparkle and shine
Mark's Finest Papers - snowflakes
Crazy 4 Challenges - Christmas card
ABC Challenge -H is for holiday
Stamping Vacation - Winter wonderland
