Bradford Family Party 2012

We made it to Utah just in time for the annual Bradford family partay! We were so excited to go see everyone, but mainly baby Katelyn! We still hadn't met her, so it was so fun to see her!

Lucy had so much fun with Nash & Ava dancing and singing Christmas songs for everyone!
as soon as we turned on 'Call Me Maybe' Clara joined in too... she calls it her 'maybe' song. And does the dance... She's pretty much a child prodigy.
and then... SANTA CAME!
(side note: he was the creepiest, most hilarious, most inappropriate awkward Santa ever... it made for a great show.)
none the less... Lucy was in awe!

Santa brought Clara her own puppy, and she got her own Minnie Mouse house from Winnie!
and Lucy got her favorite miniature My Little Pony's and a bath time Belle Barbie from Ava! Score!
It was so good to see all of our cute family, and create some fabulous Santa memories that I will never forget! Until next year...

it's me! I'm back. I have missed writing, so here I am. writing. so very much has happened since I first began this blog back in 2008! ah! almost 10 years ago. Time has seriously flown. I feel like I am a completely different person, and yet still exactly the same. Maybe just a little more perspective? money.

currently- i hate money. first and foremost: i am happy. truly happy. we live in a wonderful apartment, we both have good jobs, tyler gets to go to school, and we have the most adorable daughter. I really couldn't ask for anything more. but. money is stressful. insurance is stressful. even though i really wouldn't want our lives any other way right now... i look forward to the day when we are no longer poor. i KNOW by that time we will have plenty of other problems... but i would like to have some financial security to know that we could have another baby right now if we wanted it. and not worry about how we would pay for the doctors bills, and insurance once he/she gets here. we're told to 'multiply and replenish the earth' right? its not looking very possible for quite sometime. i wish maybe i could go back to school someday in the near future and maybe one day have a dishwasher and buy lucy an outfit from gap every once in a while... =) and maybe being able to af...

STG 26.2

i did it!  4 hours and 34 minutes.... i am so so glad it's over, and that I did it! here's my dad and I at the finish- he kicked my butt of course, 3:12 was his time. Not bad for 50! so the race went really well, and I did as well as I could have hoped! I have been training since the beginning of June, so only 4 months. After the half I did in August I hurt my IT band, so I took 3 weeks off of training to let that heal up the best I could! I am a little competitive, so I know that if I trained longer, did more cross training, etc.. that I could totally run it faster, but for my first one, I did the best I could! I ended up running the entire race with my dad's good friend's little sister, and her best friend--- Deon, and Ashley. I think I really would have been like way slower if I hadn't been running with them the whole race. I really need to get some more running buddies, because it's so much easier to run with someone!  Here's ashl...
