Tom Cruise could end up broke!

Tom Cruise is in danger of going broke if he does not control his wild spending, it has been claimed.

The Top Gun star - whose estimated fortune is $250 million -enjoys splashing his cash so much sources close to the actor fear he could squander it all.

A source said: "Tom is really into money. He has no problem spending it. It makes him feel powerful. He loves to brag about his Porsches, his homes, his planes and his motorcycles.

"When Tom takes Katie out, he has his security people hand $100 bills to anyone who helps them, even someone who opens a door! He's a big giver."

The 45-year-old actor and wife Katie Holmes have a 20-month-old daughter Suri together, and Tom also has two adopted children, Connor, 12, and 14-year-old Isabella with his ex-wife Nicole Kidman, who stand to inherit his fortune.

As well as funding his lavish lifestyle of expensive meals and shopping sprees for Katie and Suri, Tom also spends a vast amount of money running his four private planes.

Last year, he spent a staggering $1 million on fuel alone.

Tom Cruise bowled over by Posh

Tom Cruise so loves Victoria Beckham's British accent and turn of phrase, that he's now asking her to give him a few lessons.

 

A source revealed that the actor has started mimicking words that come out of Posh's mouth every time she says something 'really English'.

 

"Tom thinks her words and phrases are brilliant. Whenever he's round there and she says something really English he starts mimicking her," the Daily Express quoted the source, as saying.

 

"She'll say things like 'bloody hell' and 'blimey'. And she'll say 'come on chaps' to her sons. Tom loves hearing it all and is building up a bit of an English vocabulary himself," the source added.

 

The insider also revealed that though Posh was initially very amused by the way Cruise was enthralled with the way she talks, she’s now getting used to it since Will Smith is apparently as keen on her accent.

"Victoria is amused by his enthusiasm over her everyday chatter. But she's starting to get used to it – because another friend, Will Smith, also likes taking off her accent and phrases," the insider said.

Cruise & Katie on honeymoon in Maldives

The actor Tom Cruise and his third wife, Katie Holmes, were honeymooning in the Maldives today after getting married in a lavish ceremony in a castle in Italy at the weekend.

According to guests, the bride and groom and their seven-month-old baby wore Armani for the ceremony, which beganwith the former Top Gun star walking down a stone ramp lined with flag-bearers wearing medieval costume. Holmes, bearing a bouquet of white lilies, was escorted by her father.

The couple exchanged vows in a former stable in a Scientology rite not legally recognised in Italy but witnessed by 150 friends and family.

At the reception afterwards, in the 15th century Odescalchi castle near Rome, they were serenaded by Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli and thousands of red rose petals cascaded down on them as they cut a wedding cake flown in from the US.

Guests included Brooke Shields, Richard Gere, Jennifer Lopez, Jim Carrey and Victoria Beckham and the wedding ended with a fireworks display. The couple's publicist said afterwards that the couple had already ''legalised'' their marriage in Los Angeles.

Fans and residents of the lakeside town of Bracciano, where the event was held, had waited in vain to see a glimpse of the couple. The town's mayor said she was "disappointed" that after the inconveniences suffered by townspeople the couple had not thought to make a personal appearance before wellwishers.

Katie grabs sexy undies before wedding!

Tom Cruise's fiancee Kate Holmes is all set to please her hubby-to-be with her sexy set of lingerie, for she recently went on a shopping spree for sensual underwear.

According to the Scoop, Katie spent over $3,000 on a recent visit to Le Bra Lingerie, a store in West Hollywood.

"They weren't all white - and they certainly weren't virginal. But she's a mom, so I guess that's appropriate," a shopper was quoted by the Bosh.com as saying.

The gossip column reports that a good third of the money that Katie spent went towards a "Chantilly lace bridal collection," which included a $340 thong, a $440 bra, a $220 garter belt and $95 stockings.

In addition, Holmes picked up a silk nightgown and robe set that cost $620, a $380 bra and $175 thong each with Swarovski crystals - and two PJ and robe sets for $425.

Tom's conduct not acceptable: Paramount

TOM Cruise and Paramount Pictures have ended their 14-year production deal.
The chairman of the studio's parent company, Viacom Inc, cited the actor's off-screen antics as the main reason.

In the past year, Tom couch-hopped on Oprah Winfrey's talk show while proclaiming his love for Katie Holmes, criticised the use of anti-depressants and claimed that post-natal depression does not exist.

In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, Viacom Inc chairman Sumner Redstone said, "As much as we like him personally, we thought it was wrong to renew his deal. His recent conduct has not been acceptable to Paramount."

But, Paula Wagner, Tom's partner in his production company, said that agents for Cruise/Wagner Productions stopped negotiating with Paramount more than a week ago.

Actor Tom Cruise has been crowned the world's most powerful celebrity for the second time by US magazine Forbes. Cruise, the only film star to make the top 10, first topped the business publication's annual rundown in 2001. He came 10th last year.

The Rolling Stones are second, with chat show host Oprah Winfrey--last year's number one--in third place. But Mel Gibson and Madonna, rated third and eighth in 2005, are nowhere to be found in this year's top 100. Director Steven Spielberg, in sixth place, is rated the year's most financially successful celebrity with estimated earnings of $332m. Music legend Elvis Presley has topped the list of dead celebrities.

Katie Holmes' sex scene in her upcoming film Thanks You For Smoking Will be shown in cinemas, deespite claims that husband Tom Cruise wanted them removed. In the film, the former Dawson's Creek star plays an investigative reporter who ends up in bed with tobacco lobbyist Aaron Echart. At the movie's premiere at the Sundance Festival, the sex scene was cut.

However, is was included in the version shown at last year's Toronto Film Festival. A spokeswoman for the movie said, "It has never been altered. It will be released with that scene. We don't know what happened, but we're looking into it." When the director Jason Reitman was asked about the missing sequence, he joked that it had been lost in a "technical glitch" during a reel change.

However, when asked the same question at another screening, Reitman said, "if you want to see a sex scene with Katie Holmes rent The Gift," a reference to the 2000 released film katie appears topless.
