Ice House Detroit.
Golly. Has it really been two weeks since I updated? And here I made a vow to keep things more regular. How have you been? Me? Same old, same old. Work, sleep, Olympics, Lost.Anyway, I saw something that I've been meaning to post. Ice House Detroit is a temporary art installation of a frozen house set for demolition aiming to bring attention to the state of housing in Detroit. It might very well be thawed by this point, but I still think it's worth posting. It's a nice reminder of how winter can be beautiful, at a time when we're all very sick of it.
Read more about the process on the Ice House Detroit blog and in an interview with Dwell.
