Vancouver poet Kevin Spenst accidentally wandered into the tail end of a Chaudiere Books editorial meeting between Amanda Earl and Christine McNair at Raw Sugar Cafe earlier today, mere minutes after myself and Rose the Intern arrived to check in on the whole thing. Are you as excited as we are about Earl's first trade collection, Kiki, due out this September?
Spenst is currently touring the country, and reading tomorrow night in Ottawa as part of The Factory Reading Series.

A little tiny interview with Monty Reid
a little tiny interview with Chaudiere Books author Monty Reid by Kevin Spenst. Check out the entire (ongoing) series, which focuses on Spenst's Vancouver, but with plenty of interesting Ottawa content, including Christine McNair, Pearl Pirie + rob mclennan.
