Daisy Card by Cohenna

3:30 AM 1 Comments
Hello there, it's Monika. Today I wanted to show you a layered card.
Preparing the card is very simple. Check it out.

I trimmed the edge of the frame to make it thinner

On violet base I glued a smaller square. It's slanted and popped up.
Then I glued the frame but again on an angle.
I glued only in the middle - around the diamond which is in the center.
There is no need to attach more. This will be done when we add flowers.

See the great dimension of the layers.

Now it is time for the flowers and leaves. I did daisies in orange and
yellow ink. You can arrange them in many positions

Have fun with your own creation.

Card in a box by Cohenna

3:30 AM 7 Comments
Monika here today,I love the winter when there is snow,
but when the mud is outside the window,  I miss Spring.
That's why today I am thinking Spring and made
an Easter card in a box.

I die cut DL211 Lace Egg 5 and DL213 Lace Egg 7I glued them to card

stock and hand trimmed the edge.

Using hot glue, I added plastic tabs to attach the flowers.

My flowers were created using  B259 Daisy Strip
Using green card stock, I added B126 Grass Border, B304 Ivy Strip

I finished my card with two butterflies from the D130 discontinued
 set and some pearl accents.

In spite of large amount of the flowers, my card in a box can be
folded without destroying them.

Twin cards and tutorial by Cohenna

3:30 AM 7 Comments
Hello everyone. My name's Monika. I run a blog: My magic worldI love cards with
all the flowers. I do all flowers myself, then they are unique. Privately I'm a wife
and mother of two urchins. I live in a small village. Craft is my passion
and a way to relaxIt is a great pleasure to appear here as a guest designer.
Thank you for the invitation to this group of
extremely talented girls. I hope that my work will inspire you :)

Today I wanted to show two cards embellished with flowers created
with the Build a Flower #2 die.

Here is the step by step for making the flowers.
We need 5 large and 5 smaller petals.

Add a bit of distress ink, for my card I inked the entire petals.

Dry emboss the edge of the petals - you want it wavy

Trim the ends of the smaller petals

Glue together the larger petals using a piece of paper as the base

Pinch the ends of the smaller petals to make bowls

Glue the smaller petals of the flower to the larger petal base

Add a thick layer of glue to the edges of the petals and then
sprinkle with glitter; shaking off the excess.

then set aside to dry

Add glitter in the same way to the stamens, then make a hole
in the center of the flower and slide the stamens through.

Add a large pearl to the center of the stamens and the
 flower is finished.

I trimmed the center of my French Pastry Doily so the DP
would  show through, added assorted greenery and some
white flourishes and then placed my flowers.

I hope you have found my tutorial helpful.
