Now for my project......

How cute is that new Donut Die?

I found this perfect designer paper to use for my card that is just so sweet!!

To make my card, I started with my kraft cardstock base, layer of white cardstock and designer paper die cut using the Rectangular Frame Dies and Layers.

Next I grabbed some brown cardstock for the donut base (who doesnt love a chocolate donut right!!) and added the top frosting layer with some matching designer paper.

For the sentiment I used the new Sweet on You stamp set and one of the Strip Sentiment Dies.

The Donut was popped up onto the front of the card along with the sentiment strip.

Finally for some extra detail, I used the hearts from the Square Tag Dies, some more matching designer paper and added those hearts onto the donut.

Pair this up with a GC from a local donut shop and this would make such a sweet gift!!

Thinking of you....{MCT Just Cards}

 Good Morning my friends!!

I am up on the MCT blog today with a "Just Cards" project to share!

It seems that lately there have been quite a few passings and as hard as it to make a sympathy card I do try and keep some in my stash :(

Todays card is a pretty simple one but it is the message behind sending a homemade card letting the other person know you are thinking of them that counts.

Take a look at my card and let me know what you think....

To make my card I started with a kraft cardstock base and added a layer of white cardstock and my designer paper die cut using the Rectangular Frame Dies and Rectangular Frame Die Layers.

For the focal point of my card, I used the Scallop Stitch Oval Dies in kraft and a matching green cardstock which I popped up onto the center of my card.

The sentiment is from the I'm Rooting for You set and the matching greenery is from the Plant Dies set.

To finish off the card, I did add 2 hearts die cut from the Square Tag Dies set and placed them on the greenery.

Thanks Teacher...{MCT Tag it Tuesday}

 Good Morning everyone and welcome to 

MCT's Tag it Tuesday post!

I have been MIA the past month camping with the family and enjoying my summer vacation before my youngest starts college in the fall but I am back ready to share some awesome MCT stamps and die projects with everyone!

For todays project I made a sweet little back to school project for all those wonderful teachers out there! They have gone above and beyond this past year and it is always nice to show extra gratitude to all their hard work!

For my project today I used the adorable 2X2 Note Holder die to make a holder for some post it notes. I die cut the holder using some cute apple designer paper and filled the holder with a mini post it note pack.

I tied the holder up with some trendy twine in green/white and attached the adorable little tag to the bow.

For the tag, I used the Square Tag Dies (the smallest of the set) and stamped my sentiment using the Big Word Sentiments set. For the apple, I used the Mini Lolly Add Ons set, stamping my apple onto some white cardstock, die cutting it with the matching die and coloring it in using my copics.

The apple was popped up onto the tag and the tag tied onto the holder.

A sweet little "note of appreciation"

Hi Friend...{MCT Just Cards}

 Good Morning everyone!

It is Just Cards day over on the MCT blog and I have a sweet card to share using the newly released, super adorable plant dies and sentiments.

Take a look at my card and let me know what you think...

I have this adorable coffee mug that I made a few days ago and wanted a card to match to give to my gardening bestie. Since she is such a BIG plant lover and has a gorgeous garden every year I know she will love this set :)

Here is my card up close..

I kept my card on the CAS side to really showcase how adorable the new plant dies are! I used one of the planters and die cut it 2 times so I could layer a colored pot and add 2 different colored leaves. I die cut the layer of the leaves and inked them up to add to my planter. 

For some extra dimension I popped up the rim of the planter and added a cute pink heart from the Square Tag Dies set. Tied on a hemp twine bow and popped up the whole planter onto the front of my card.

For the sentiment, I used the smallest of the Rectangular Frame Die Layers and stamped the saying using the I'm Rooting for You set.

I popped up the sentiment under the planter and finished my card with some enamel dots.

MCT 109th New Release Sneak Day 2

Good Morning Everyone!

It is time for Day 2 of sneaks for the 109th New Release from My Creative Time!

What did you think of yesterdays sneaks? Adorable right!! 

Well we have another set of stamps and dies that I know you are all going to FLIP over!

For today we are showcasing the adorable new set~

Happy Rainbow Dies & Rainbow Sentiments

I bought this fun rainbow fabric on one of my recent trips to Walmart that I just had to have even before Miss Emma shared the new release with us.

When I saw the new rainbow stamps and dies I had the perfect project for that fabric.

I pulled out my sewing machine and made the cutest rainbow scrunchie to attach my tag to.

The tag, made using the Square Tag Dies has the matching rainbow cardstock pieces to match my scrunchie.

I offset the rainbow on my tag and added the matching cloud die from the same set where I stamped my sentiment.

I attached the tag to the scrunchie by tying a white twine bow to hold the tag in place.

How sweet would this be to give to a little girl?

MCT 107th New Release Sneak Day 1

Good Morning everyone and welcome to RELEASE week!!

It is time for Day 1 of sneaks for the 107th New Release from My Creative Time! Miss Emma is getting everyone ready for Valentine's Day with a SUPER awesome new release for stamps and dies! 

For today we are showcasing the adorable new sets~

 Love You Lots & Square Tag Die

How adorable is that gnome?

 To make my card I used that cutie and colored him up with my Prisma color pencils putting him aside to put together my card base.

The card base is kraft cardstock, layered with a pink base and a layer of heart designer paper. I used the Rectangular Frame Die Layers and the More Stitched Rectangular Dies for the card mat.

Next I die cut the new Square Tag Dies in kraft and white cardstock and added it to the front of my card. The sentiment, from the Love you Lots set was stamped onto the tag and then I popped up the Gnome next to the sentiment. 

Finally to finish my card, I added some hearts that are part of the Square Tag Dies set under the sentiment and added a white bow to the top of the tag.
