September has simply flown.........

I met some lovely new Tweeps.

Entered some exciting competitions and received a few wonderful products to test and review.

I have updated my blog far too often and lost too much time of Twitter/ Facebook.

I'm going to try and set a goal for each aspect of my life for October.

Where's your favourite place??  This could be a holiday destination, your favourite kids play centre, a recommendation  for a pub/ restaurant you enjoy going to..........

Our favourite place is "The Park in Wadsley Bridge" - it is part of the Sizzling Pubs chain and is dangerously close to our house.........

It's officially the first day of Autumn today - eeek bye bye Summer, Hello Winter

Have you put the heating on?

What's the best thing about Autumn?  Is there any tell tale sign that says "Hi, It's Autumn".......

A blog a day in september - Monday 2nd September - Back to School

Day 2 - September 2nd ........ Back to School.

Like I said on day 1 Ben starts school tomorrow....... 
........ use today to blog about one, some or all of the ideas below:
                     - excitement/ fears over your child starting school 
                    - remembering your own time at school
                     - teaching a class on their first day back at school
       or anything related to school life and days really................

I am really excited for Ben starting school, he's 5 in October and has been away from home numerous times already.

Until the summer holidays this year he went to a childminders every Friday since he was 9 months old so was used to being away from mummy/ daddy from an early age.  He took to this like a duck to water, we never experienced the clingy separation anxiety so many parents go through..... most days I'd be lucky if I got a kiss/ cuddle before I left him.  When it came to going home he would want to stay and drag his feet. 

Blog A Day in September - explained

This was a fantastic idea (that I discovered on 28th August ... so rather late) started by Yummy Mummy In Training. The idea being that every day in August there is a prompt of what to blog about - use them or make up your own (or leave it if you have your own post for that day planned out)

Yummy Mummy In Training is not going to have time to run it again in September so I offered to take it on .....so after refreshing my brain from her fantastic ideas and scouring the internet for events happening in September, or useful facts about days (and a lot of ideas from America) here are my ideas

They may sound strange or cryptic, you may think they don't/ can't apply to you (I am sure they will)....more will be revealed nearer the day.
