Video: String of blasts in Gaza as Israel intensifies airstrikes. (VIDEO)
Israeli aircraft pounded Gaza with at least 30 strikes on Wednesday, hitting government ministries, smuggling tunnels, a banker's empty villa and a Hamas-linked media office.
A series of strikes within seconds of each other pulverised a complex of government ministries the size of a city block, rattling nearby buildings and shattering surrounding windows.

Israel's offensive takes toll on Gaza children (VIDEO)
The terrifying roaring sound of Israel's F16 war planes flying daily over Gaza often followed by deafening explosions has taken a toll on Palestinian children in the besieged enclave.
Officials said the number of Palestinians killed in Gaza during Israel's on-going offensive reached 100 on Monday, including 24 children and 10 women.
Taha, an eight-year-old boy, came to the hospital to get treatment and the safety he needed, believing that the hospital was the only safe place in Gaza.
"I stayed awake all night long because the sound of the bombardment scared me," he said.
Parents have been struggling to support their children under the harsh conditions where they cannot even protect themselves.
"When the bombardment started, I tried to get my kids away from the sound by allowing them to play, but they still got so scared. I have always failed to calm them down because the sound of warplanes shelling gets louder," said a mother at the hospital.
There are no shelters in Gaza, and that has placed civilians in danger of becoming casualties. Children in particular were vulnerable, feeling high anxiety with the ongoing Israeli bombardment.
"Most of children cases that have come to the hospital are frightened due to the sound of the bombardment, where they have some indications like peeing on themselves, pain in the stomach and the throwing up. We deal with those cases by taking the children away (from) the risk and try to calm them," said a doctor at the hospital.
It has become obvious that Hamas' refusal to make a truce and Israel's refusal to end it's military operations in Gaza is escalating the aggression for more days, leaving more victims and more devastation.

Hamas says Gaza truce agreed; Israel, Egypt say no deal yet

GAZA/JERUSALEM (Reuters) - A Hamas official said Egyptian mediators had clinched a truce with Israel on Tuesday that would go into effect within hours, but Egypt and Israel said a Gaza ceasefire deal was still up in the air after a week of fighting.
"The talks are still continuing," an Egyptian official, who declined to be identified, told Reuters. He said Cairo was hopeful of an agreement later in the day.

US Warships Turn Toward Israel for Possible Evacuation of Americans
The US has ordered three amphibious warships with 2,500 Marines aboard back to the eastern Mediterranean to iwo jimaremain on standby off Israel's shore in case they are needed to evacuate American citizens.
The USS Iwo Jima, the USS New York and the USS Gunston Hall, were sailing west of Gibraltar on their way to back to Norfolk, Virginia, when they were turned around.

Fox News anchor Brian Kilmeade is under fire after saying his own network finds its female on-air talent by flipping through a Victoria's Secret catalog and making sure 'they went to college.'
During Kilmeade's radio show on Friday, a guest called in and complimented Alisyn Camerota, a fellow Fox News anchor who joins Kilmeade on his radio program and typically fills in for Fox & Friends host Gretchen Carlson.

"My grandmother did not die to provide cover for Israeli soldiers murdering Palestinian grandmothers in Gaza. Tyler Alred, now 17, had been drinking when he crashed a pickup truck at around 4 a.m. on Dec. 3, 2011, Tulsa World reports. The accident killed Alred's friend, 16-year-old John Luke Dum, who was a passenger in the vehicle.
Alred was not legally drunk, but because he was below the legal drinking age, he was still considered to be driving under the influence of alcohol. The high school student pleaded guilty in August to a charge of manslaughter as a youthful offender."
