Wintry Fun Tag Holder and Tags

We're back today friends with another edition of Wintry Fun Happy Mail.  This little pocket tag holder was posted back in December in a Rustic Farmhouse theme.  You know, I just had to do one in Pink, right!!!!  lol  This Santa is just adorable.  He melts my heart.  This pocket was big enough to hold the following tags:
If you follow my blog you know that I just adore CottageCutz dies.  This cutie is called Woodland Snowlady.  Don't you love the little Cardinals in her head wreath!  The tag is from Papertrey ink.  It's one of my go-to dies for creating tags.  It's a great size.
Here's another go-to Papertrey ink tag die.  I love this one too!  The bow die is from My Creative Time.  That bow die gets a work out in the ole Cuttlebug!!!!  This bear melts my heart.  You know I love bears-hence I collect a lot of bear dies.
This tag is created with a Sizzix Framelits die called Fancy Tags.  It's a really cute tag die.  Again, you see this adorable bear die holding a snowman.  Two of my favorites!!!  You can't go wrong with bears and snowmen!!!  All Poinsettia are from the Spellbinders Poinsettia die.
And the last tag to fit in the pocket is this darling shaker skate.  I just had to use those resin bows on the skate-aren't they the bomb!!!  Shakers are so fun to create.  The little reindeer is another Cottagecutz die.  Its called Sweet Christmas Reindeer and there are several ways you can decorate your Reindeer.  There's antlers, a bow, and a Santa Hat.
Thank you so much for stopping by today to check out these projects.  It sure is appreciated.  My Cuttlebug has been cranking in my craft room of late!!!  It's a hot mess in there but I feel motivated to craft.....lol  Hope your having a terrific week!!!  Until next time friends, Happy Crafting.  Hugs and Blessings, Carol

Rustic Farmhouse Christmas Pockets with Tags

Hello my crafty friends!  Here is a project that I created to send to my friends and family for Christmas.  This has become a tradition now.  These are sent instead of cards for the recipient to use as they wish.  The tags end up on trees as ornaments or used in gift giving.  Either way this is probably not something that ends up in the trash!!!!  lol
This year I was inspired by the Rustic Farmhouse Christmas décor you see everywhere in the stores.  I really love the buffalo check!  Above is one of the pockets I created that holds three tags.  This is how it will come in the mail to the recipient.  The pocket is a Nicole Silhouette die.  You can find her on YouTube where she shows you her dies and where to purchase them.
The next few pictures are going to be of the tags that were created to go in the pockets.  This is a lantern shaker tag.
Don't you just love this cute Snowman from Spellbinders.  He's a darling addition to these set of tags. I just love adding burlap too!
This is from a Hero Arts Stamp and Die set that I purchased at Michael's a year or so ago.  I have a thing for "bears", so I had to add this to my collection.
There are several people on my card list that love Cardinals.  I picked this die up a year ago.  It's a Dee's Distinctively die.  What a great die for layering the wings and bringing dimension to this Cardinal.
Here's another look at a different configuration of one of the pockets.  This one uses Kraft Cardstock for the base.  The paper used in this project was found at Hobby Lobby.  They had sheets of red and black buffalo check and white and black buffalo check.  Christmas Plaids and Mistletoe Lodge were the paper pads used.
Here's another pocket with white cardstock as the base.  By now your asking about that Santa on the front, aren't you?  He's a wooden die from Aliexpress that is still available.  The stitching around him makes him look so country!
Here's a cute buffalo checked mitten tag with a birch tree background.  Love the greenery on this tag.
Last but not least, is this sled tag.  The Sled is from Memory Box and it was cut on red metallic paper and Kraft paper.  It's pieced to make it look like an old fashioned sled.

Thank you so much for joining me today in my share.  Going to try to post some more projects soon. For more information on this project, please check me out on my YouTube channel "Carol Hurlock".   Until next time friends, Happy Crafting!
