Secret Crafter DT Card - BMD

Hello everyone, another saturday and another theme over at this weeks Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge. This weeks theme has been set by the lovely Jane and she would like to see Glitter on your card/project. I used papers from Sweet Shop Design again, were on my table from the other day. The image was a RAK I received (dont know what it is, sorry). Coloured with Sakura Glitter Pens and Crystal Stckles, then stamped round the border with a new set from Technique Tuesday and faux stitching. Various punches, flowers and a number and balloon rub on. My youngest's best school friend is 7 today so this will be going to Rhianna this afternoon. The insert is from a CD available HERE at Bearly Mine Designs
Rotten weather here today, and as I didn't get to craft yesterday, will spend a few hours this afternoon.

Thanks for looking and remember to pop on over to the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge and see what fab pieces the other DT's have come up with!!
Thanks for looking!

LOTV GDT Card

This is my 2nd GDT card for Lili of the Valley and this weeks theme is Blue/Green/Pink. I loved putting this card together, just love all the extra's I've added and the flower (top right) is handmade using SU punches and Tims Distress Tool. The stamp is another new one from Kadoodle, coloured with copics and Sakura pens. Lots of different punches and flowers used to, wanted to add a real summery feel to the card.

Do drop by and take a look at what the other DT members have done, great pieces. My picture on the challenge blog is a bit dodgy for some reason but I hope you like what you've seen here.
Happy Crafting and Have a lovely day

Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge - DT Card

"HAPPY VALENTINES EVERYONE"
This weeks theme over at the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge has been set by the lovely Donna and her chosen theme is "Spring Has Sprung". I chose Daisy (Sugar Nellie) without hesitation and headed straight to the BG papers, opting for Urban Prairie. I've coloured her with Copics highlighting a few flowers with a clear Sakura pen. The BP's have been edged with a black Galaxy Marker, I love these marker pens because they dont smudge and its cheaper than backing onto cardstock. The flowers are Prima and the Spacer, gold leaves and milky gems from stash. Used Pink Bazzill cardstock and the quote "Sweet" is a BG rub on. I've still got the sentiment to add which will be in the top left corner, but was undecided so will add at a later date. Think the colours on this look a little washed out, its my birthday soon and would love to get a decent camera, fingers crossed. Hope you can join us in this weeks Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge, do check out what the rest of the DT have done, and rememebr you've a chance of winning in the monthly draw!
2 of the children off school now, Jessica has different holidays so that means I wont be sleeping in next week. School runs (Argghhh). Have a good week everyone!

Its An ATC!

Becky is hosting a new challenge blog called the "Monthly ATC Swap" and this months theme is "Love and Romance". It is a swap for cute ATC's only. I used to be an ATC addict and now have a couple of hundred ATC's in folders although I do lack the cute images so thought this would be a great way to getting back into them. I have used my new Leanne Ellis SN Stamp called "Choose". I have coloured the ATC with chalk pads and stamped image with a memento ink pad. Coloured with various Sakura pens and added a prima flower and some liquid pearls. I've still another 2 to make for the swap but as this stamp is just gorgeous I thought I'd post my first one! If you'd like to take part in the swap whether your a newbie to ATC's or not check out the link HERE.
Thanks for looking

The Sugar Bowl - challenge 2

Week 2 over at The Sugar Bowl and I love these challenges. My SN stamps have been sitting in their box long enough and its nice to get them out again. This weeks challenge is;
Please use three different design papers and three different types of embellishments on your cards! No more, no less.
(by types of embellishments we mean, buttons, brads, flowers, ribbons, beads, bling etc)
Of course, you can use any amount of 'plain' card stock!
I've coloured the stamp with Prismas Pencils and Sakura Pens. My 3 embellishments are Jewels, Heart Sticker and a Prima Flower. The 3 papers are K & Co and I have used my new Martha Stewart punch. Edged with a Gold Galaxy Marker and sentiment made using Safmat on my computer.
Heavy rain overnight and the wind is still howling. I have 2 of the children off sick today, just snuffles and headaches so hopefully they will be back to school tomorrow. Have a good week!

Mojo Monday/Lots to Do/Artygirlz & Stamp Challenge

Yes, its another card using my favourite snowman. Cant get enough if this stamp and its so versatile. Today I have made a 6 x 6 square card which actually covers 4 challenges. Think its a bit easy at the moment as alot of challenges are christmas related. Image stamped and coloured with Promarkers and Red Sakura Pen though the promarkers are not showing up on the scarf, I used "Vanilla" to colour. Papers are BG "Wassill'. The chipboard corner has been spritzed with Gilmmer Mists in both Black/Gold and Gold and sentiment punched with SU Punches. Dont be surprised to see this fella again soon, wont be long now till he's shelved!!!! And here are the links to the 4 challenges, Stamp something - Snow, Lots to Do - Christmas and Artygirlz - Favourite Medium, I just love my Promarkers and the are definitely my favourite medium and had to follow the great sketch over at Mojo Monday

Friday Sketcher

Another christmas card off the list and this one was made using this weeks sketch over at Friday Sketchers and what a fab sketch it is, am sure to use this one again. I've so many new stamps that are untouched so late last night coloured in my "Tilda With Hood". This is a gorgeous stamp and so easy to work with. Papers are BG "Figgy", coloured with Promarkers and Sakura pen. Have gone around the edge of papers with a black Galaxy Marker. I would use this as a top tip as it is so quick and saves using cardstock. Sentiment stamp from Magnolia, Prima Flowers and a brad and white pen from Inkssentials.
My Blog Candy will be here very soon, so keep your eyes peeled. Happy Thursday!

Dotties World - Colour Me Silly

Haven't crafted since last week and itching to get back to it so neglected the chores this morning! Its quite sunny here but cold so what better than to spend a few hours crafting before doing the school runs. This weeks theme over at Dotties World is "Colour Me Silly". I've used papers from DCWV and coloured with Dottie with Sakura Pens and Stickles. Added a sentiment and lots of different Prima Flowers and Brads. I love Dottie and think I'll be sending this to my neighbours daughter who will be 3 tomorrow.
Daniel has had a few more cards in the post and would like to say THANKYOU to Joy (craftjoy), Jason (USA) and the stickers and images, TerrieB, The Parson Family (USA), Wendy (craftybutterfly) and Christine Riley (USA). More fantastic cards to put on show, but running out of space and the cats keep knocking them down (lol).

Christmas with a Difference

Was playing around with my Cricut the other day and cut out this envelope from the Christmas Cheer Cartridge. Didn't know what to do with it so it sat about for a few days before I decided to make a Christmas envelope and mini card. The papers used are BG "Figgy", ribbon from my stash and the flowers are what I bought recently at a garden centre. I bought loads of different bunches and just cut off the flower or leaf that I want to use. Makes a change from Prima flowers and works out so much cheaper! The insert is also covered with BG and stamped with Imaginisce and coloured with Sakura pens. Really enjoyed making this didi card, and think I will make a few more. This fits in with this weeks Lilley of the Valley Challenge which is Christmas Cards.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!

Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge

This week it is Donna's turn to set the challenge over at Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge and she has chosen a sketch. This is my DT card, I just love BG papers and cant stop using them. The Little Donkey from Alota Rubber, this has been used twice now as I think its a really cute stamp. I've coloured it with Promarkers, added black glaze pen on the hair, eyes and nose. The sentiment is a from a set (not sure who) and the scalloped border and circle I've just received from my 1st SU order. Added a stitched rub on to the scallop border and some flower jewels as I thought it looked a bit bare and hay presto, a finished card. I do hope you can join us at the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge, have a great weekend!

In My Pocket Challenge

This weeks theme over at the In My Pocket Challenge is "Butterflies". I used two sets of stamps for this pocket, my new set from Inkadinkadoo which I purchased from Oyster Stamps when shopping with my mate Andrea and the other set which is the small butterflies on the outside is Technique Tuesday. The sentiment is from the Artistic Stamper. I've coloured with sakura pens and edged it with a gold Acrylic Dabber. Got up early this morning, window cleaner rang the bell at 8.20am, wouldn't have mminded but didn't get to bed till nearly 3am. Few things to do today but will try and get the holiday snaps on later today. Have a good week.

Fairy ATC's

Made these for a team challenge over at Auntys Forum the theme last month was silhouette and I do like this stamp. Used basic grey paper, coloured the leaves with sakura and used a white galaxy marker to highight certain area's. Feeling crafty today so hoping to work on another project.
Totally off subject now, my son has Aspbergers Syndrome which is on the Autistic Spectrum, we are at the moment battling with the LEA over his schooling. In less than a year after his diagnosis we have managed to win our appeal and Daniel has now be statemented although we are still ironing out the details as we're not happy with the offer and want him to attend a special needs school just for AS children, cut a long story short, Daniel is attending a school today in Hampshire, its about 4 hours from us and if the LEA decide to pay his fee's (which they wont and another Tribunal to attend) he will have to board. Even better, Daniel and his dad left yesterday and camped in the New Forest overnight as Daniel has an early start, so my stash is all over the place at the moment and I can play all day if I want!!!!

Bunny Garden

Think this card reflects the weather we are having at the moment. I started the card by stamping the snail and ladybirds, then masking them and continued stamping over. The bunny image is one I received in a swap so afraid I dont know who its from. The snail and ladybird are from cuddly buddly and the grass stones etc are I think rubber tapestry. The birds are art impressions.I coloured the image with prisma and sansodor, and the garden with pigment inks. The snail and ladybird where watercoloured with Sakura pens. Had a bad back for the last few days and the pain has been rotten. Weathers great so spending more time outside and less crafting. Last week of freedom before the kids start breaking up from school. Enjoy the weather, been a scorcher here today!

Enjoy the rest of what seems to be a very wet sunday.

Another Tilda

This stamp is becoming quite addictive, am trying out different ways of colouring and using different colour schemes each time. Have coloured this one with Sakura pens, and mounted onto bazzill cardstock which I have tinted around the edge with a blue chalk pad. Have used a border punch on the backing papers and a stamp from Tanda (flourishes set 1) down the side. Finished with a gold peel off. Loving these stamps and will shortly have to invest in some more!
