Oh, Blog, you're a bore!

I realized a few days ago what a bore my blog has become. I haven't posted any pictures since March, and those were of the hair clips I made. Somehow, I fell out of my blogging groove. While I have been posting, I guess my heart hasn't been in it completely. And frankly, I haven't taken many pictures this spring. But, I'm starting anew. Here you are... more photos than you wanted, I'm sure!

Going all the way back to Easter, here are the kids with the eggs they colored. I was actually pretty impressed with how they turned out. Like I said before, we used the old-fashioned, vinegar and food coloring method. Not too shabby.
On to Easter morning... I really wanted a picture of all the kids together, but of course, Josie wouldn't stand still and let me take one. We were already running late, so I snapped a few photos separately. Mazie is wearing the wonderful dress that my mother-in-law made for her, and Josie is wearing the one that used to be Mazie's from Stephen's wedding.

She wouldn't even look at the camera. Oh well, at least you can see the dress and the cute flowers in her hair.

We've been enjoying warmer weather lately, and we celebrated the other week with this family home evening.
I actually had to look up the rules to hopscotch on the Internet--it's been that long since I played. My boys had fun learning the rules, but Mazie took off to recruit a friend and never returned.
Josie had more fun playing with the chalk.
Eventually, she did take a run through the hopscotch. It was so much fun watching her hopping. She's just learned to jump.
Another evening I was letting Josie walk around outside, when Nathan returned from biking. She begged for a ride, so he took her for a spin around the neighborhood.
Dads are so much fun. I'm not coordinated enough to do this, but it's no problem for Nathan. He even has clipped pedals on his bike.

Mom's favorite time of day. This was taken on a Sunday afternoon. That nursery stuff is hard work!
Finally, here is Mazie one afternoon when she decided to do some painting. She was a very nice big sister and shared with Josie.Eventually, Josie had to taste the paints, and then it was time to be done. Before I could get her cleaned up, she had paint all over her face.

  1. Love the pictures. It is funny that Josie likes paint so much. I have a picture of Joshua after he did the same thing--of course he looked a lot worse than Josie because I didn't catch him at it soon enough. I am impressed with the eggs myself. We'll have to try that next year--if I am still doing colored Easter eggs!

  4. Tasting is the best part! It is very nice to see lots of fun pictures! Easter egg coloring just isn't the same without that vinegar smell!
