It is Tuesday, which means time for another Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge...this weeks MMSC69 can be seen here below!!

"YOUR CHOICE"

Enter one style or both this week.
Just have fun and come play with us :)
For my card, I used the new Mockingbird Lane image from Sunshine and Giggles...how fun is this image! I had the theme song to the Musters in my head the entire time I was making this card!! LOL!!

The image was colored with copics, and I added a bit of glassy glaze over the windows, and sponged the image panel with Pumice Stone and Tea Die Distress inks. The base layer of the panel was cut out with the spellbinders lotus pendent die. The bat DP is from Making Memories Spooky Alley package. The base panel was dry embossed with the divine swirls cuttlebug folder, and then I outlined the swirls with some stickels. To finish off the card, I added some black glittery brads, distressed all the edges of the card, and added the sentiment (which is computer generated)!

KSS - So Sweet of You!!

Happy Kitchen Sink Monday!! Today I made a card using this week's sketch from Get Sketch #53. I decided that I wanted to make at least one more summery card before fall hits us...so I reached for one of my favorite summer sets from KSS - Multi Step Berries!! Love these strawberries!! They were stamped as follows: Step 1: Rose Red, Step 2: Riding Hood Red, Step 3: Real Red, and Step 4: Basic Black. They were then punched out with circle and scalloped circle punches from Stampin Up!

I layered the strawberries on a piece of Basic Grey DP from the Eskimo Kisses collection. The pink base panel was also dry embossed with the swiss dots cuttlebug folder. To finish off the card, I added the sentiment along with some red gems, and some olive ribbon from May Arts.

Please head on over to see what my fellow crew members have created today!

Kichen Sink Monday - Sunflower Birthday Wishes!

Happy Kitchen Sink Monday!! I needed to make a card for my Grandmother who is turning 94 years old this week! I figured what better image for a birthday card this time of year, then the wonderful sunflower images from Kitchen Sink Stamps! I decided to use the sketch from this week's Crazy 4 Challenges #49.

For the background of this card, I used sunflower images from two different Kitchen Sink Stamp sets: Multi Step Giant Sunflower and Multi Step Sunflowers. The sunflowers were stamped with the following recipe: Step 1: So Saffron, Step 2: Daffodil Delight, Step 3: More Mustard, Step 4: Close to Cocoa, and Step 5: Early Espresso.

I then sponged the background panel with scattered straw distress ink. I then stamped the sentiment with Early Espresso, and sponged that panel as well with scattered straw distress ink. The sentiment was cut out using the labels 11 nestabilities. The DP across the bottom is from Max and Whiskers Basic Grey package. To finish off the card, I added some yellow floral ribbon across the side with a bow tied with the bow easy, and three brown crystal brads from Zva Creative.

KSS - Potted Hydrangea!

Happy Kitchen Sink Monday!! For today's card, I decided to use this past week's Midnight Madness Sketch MMSC64. I thought this sketch would be perfect with the Kitchen Sink Stamps 3 step Hydrangea set.

I stamped the Hydrangea with the following colors: Step 4 - Old Olive; Step 3 - Mellow Moss, Step 2 - Certainly Celery stamped off and Step 1 - Barley Banana stamped off. For the pot, I used Step 4 - Close to Cocoa, Step 3 - Close to Cocoa stamped off, Step 2 - Crumb Cake, Step 1 - Crumb Cake stamped off. The leaf was stamped with Mellow Moss, Old Olive and Close to Cocoa. Whew!! That's a lot of stamping, but you know I love it!!! :)

The image was then cut out with my spellbinders Labels 4 nestabilities. The crumb cake background was dry embossed with a cuttlebug folder. The DP is from Basic Grey's Capella DP, and the pearls are from Zva Creative (which were colored with a green copic to give them the green tint). Now, onto my project details for today! When I first saw this wonderful sunflower image in the Happy Fall set, I immediately thought of using it for my Thanksgiving Table Setting!! So for today, I have created a place card, napkin ring and Ghiradelli Chocolate box as a little favor. The place card and the napkin ring is just so super simple with a bit of chocolate card stock layered with pumpkin pie, and then I added the sunflower image popped up on dimensionals.

The tutorial for the Ghiradelli box...which is so easy by the way...can be found here on SCS. For this box, I used some Basic Grey Indian Summer DP, punched the flap with SU's eyelet border punch, and added the sunflower image popped up with a dimensional, so it can hold the flap down.

Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoyed my projects today. From here, hop over to the ever talented Lorelie's blog for even more inspiration!
