Simple Yet Elegant Christmas Cards!

I needed to make some simple Christmas cards to start making up for the fact that I need way more cards then I have currenlty made! LOL!! So here are a few I whipped out today!

I have used both Pinecone sets - Gift of God and Sacred Season from Our Daily Bread Designs. I stamped the images and the sentiment is Encore Gold and also distressed the edges a bit with the same ink. I then added a bit of DP and Antique Gold ruffled organza ribbon from the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store!

Mulit Level Holiday Tree

Happy Kitchen Sink Monday! For my card today I have made a multi level tree! I stamped the image four times, and then trimmed each layer 1/4" smaller, and then inked the edges with firebrick red distress ink to give it the multi level look! The tree was stamped as follows: Step 1: Mellow Moss, Step 2: Old Olive, Step 3: Old Olive, Step 4: Always Artichoke.

I paired my image with some wonderful Holiday paper from My Mind's Eye, Gem Flourishes from Zva Creative, and some Organdy ribbon from the Really Reasonable Ribbon store!

ODBD November Blog Hop!!

Hello! Welcome to the Our Daily Bread Designs November Release Blog Hop! If you got here from Becca's Amazing Blog, you are in the right place. If not you might want to start at the Our Daily Bread designs Blog and start from the beginning. If you get lost along the way, simply return there where the entire hop is listed with links. Also, for all the hop details, be sure to check out the Our Daily Bread Designs blog. There are three prices up for grabs!! :)

Now onto my project for today! Here I have used the new Ornaments 2 set. This image just screams to be heat embossed, so that is exactly what I did! I embossed it with silver embossing powder on marina mist paper six times. I then cut each image out with the matching spellbinders 2011 Heirloom Ornaments dies. Once they were all cut out, I folded each image in half, and then adhered each image to each other to create the 3D ornament.

To finish off the ornament I added some wonderful silver ribbon from the really reasonable ribbon store, some crystal beads, and the sentiment!

Now I'll send you on your way, so next you'll hop to Dawn's Awesome Blog!! You will love what she has for you today!

Thanks so much for visiting! Have a great day!
