Life is Sweet

It's time for another Monday Montage Blog Hop!  Hop along and see what everyone has to share with you!

I'm still catching up after being on vacation, so I turned to the June 2024 Life is Sweet Paper Pumpkin kit and it did not disappoint. These alternatives were so much fun to create!

With the exception of the Shy Shamrock Thanks, all products were from the kit.  I just used all of the products a bit differently than the kit samples. Which are you favorite?

Keep on hopping to see what my friend Charlet has created!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Happy Stamping!

Greetings From The North Pole

It's another Merry Monday AND time for another Monday Montage Blog Hop!
After a busy weekend of kicking off the holiday season, my stamp time was pretty limited.  Thank goodness for November's From The North Pole Paper Pumpkin Kit!
With some of the left over bits and pieces I didn't use, along with the add-on bags, I created a couple alternative projects to share with you today!

First off is a simple, yet festive card.  I cut one of the add-on bags, layering it on top of a piece of Cherry Cobbler.  I cut the tails off of the Mint Macaron glitter banner to use as an accent strip for the Express Delivery stamp.  I tied some the Mint Macaron bakers twine around it to cover the hole at the top of the tag.  A few of the little snowflakes were all the embellishments this card needed.

\

I also used one of the add-on bags to turn into a gift card holder.  Simply fold the bottom up, not quite half way.  (I had a gift card on hand to use as a guide for folding.) I added a strip of adhesive on either side, leaving room to slide the gift card in.  A piece of Black & White Gingham Ribbon was wrapped around the bag to hide the seam and hang a cute little bell on.

The top of bag is perfect to slide a small card in to write a little note.  How cute is the HOHOHO with the Santa hat on top?!?

This week is shaping up to be a super busy one, but I am going to do my best to make sure I find some time to stamp.  Stamping is the only way I can keep my sanity some days!

HOHOHO - Merry Monday

It's time for another Merry Monday post!  As promised, I'm back today with some fun alternatives to this months October HOHOHO Paper Pumpkin kit.

First up is a jolly and joyful Santa.  I added a left over frame and flipped this card vertically from the original.  I wasn't originally going to add the Santa, but I'm so happy I did!  To balance the card out, I heat embossed the sentiment on the Shaded Spruce strip, cutting the words out for just the perfect placement.

I flipped the Crumb Cake die-cut snowflakes over, using the white side for this next card.  Using the Layering Circles Dies, I die-cut the starlit sky.  I stuck with the layout of the original from the most part from here, other than adding a Sweet Sorbet bakers twine bow.

And now you can see why I used the white side of the die-cut snowflakes panel on the last card!   I used the Crumb Cake side as a stencil for this card and it is my favorite of them all!  I used the rest of the left over bits and pieces for a simple, yet cheerful layout.  And of course I had to stamp my own Santa to color...you know how much I love my Stampin' Blends!

Have you had a chance to play with this months Paper Pumpkin kit yet? I can't wait to see all of the alternative projects that everyone makes.  This kit is the cutest!

Happy Stamping!
