Christmas Inspiration ~ HSS#363

Hello stamping friends and Happy Tuesday!

It's time for an all new Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge and this week we have a beautiful inspiration challenge!  I can't wait to see what this inspires everyone to create!

I love the watercolor effect in many of the pictures, which is what inspired my card.  I use my Aqua Painter to get a section of the watercolor paper wet then added a few drops of ink and let the color flow where it wanted.  I kept doing this until I had the effect I wanted for the background.  Once dry, I inked up the pine tree and spritzed it with water before I stamped it on the paper to give it a very soft watercolor feel as well.

'Tis the Season

It's the eve of Christmas Eve and I am wrapping up the end of my holiday crafting.  I made this cute little tree and card a few weeks ago and never got around to posting it.  The little tree is the perfect size to hide a sweet treat in!

 

The girls over at SSINK are showing off creations of their choice today, so I'm going to share mine with them too!

Peaceful Embossed Pines

Two blog posts in a row...it's a Christmas Miracle!  

I broke down and got the Softly Falling Embossing folder and it was just in time for today's SSINK Product Focus...embossing folders!

I tried telling myself I didn't need these trees, but I didn't listen.  They also ended up in my last order and I'm so happy I've fallen victim to my children's inability to listen ;-)

And here I thought I was doing so well...but I just realized that the Naturals White paper is no longer...that would explain why I have so much of it still!  This is a clear sign that I really need to go through all of my supplies and pull out what is retired.  This needs to happen soon as I will be moving into a new craft room...but pro"craft"nation is my middle name!
