Merry Monday Grinch

It's another Merry Monday and day 20 of #30daychristmascardmakingchallenge.

Today's theme is Bah Humbug.  No Bah Humbug's allowed around here, but we do love the Grinch and how the Christmas spirt enters his heart!
One of the Potted Succulent dies has always reminded me of a Grinch hand, so I put it to good use for today's card.  A little strip of Poppy Parade made the arm and one of the Potted Succulent small floral dies worked perfectly for the snow-white cuff. A Poppy Parade Spruced Up ornament was the only thing this Grinch-y hand needed.

I struggled with a sentiment and ended up going with one of my favorites from Christmas to Remember, stamped in Poppy Parade.  This time of year can sometimes bring out the Grinch in all of us, but remember...'Tis the Season to let your heart grow be filled with the spirit of the season!

Spruced Up Celebration ~ Merry Monday Montage

Hello friends!  Welcome to another Monday Montage Blog Hop!  Hop along with us and enjoy all of the amazing projects these talented stampers have to share today.

I'm still keeping up with my Merry Monday Christmas cards.  Between my own personal challenge of making a Christmas card every Monday AND trying to keep up with the #30daychristmascardmakingchallenge, I will certainly have enough Christmas cards to send out to all of our family and friends this year!

I am all about BRIGHT Christmas colors and absolutely LOVE the colors in the Christmas patterns of Celebrate Everything DSP!   Pulling some of my favorite colors, I die-cut 4 of the adorable packages using the Spruced Up Outline dies.

I was going for a simple card, but the packages felt like they needed a little something extra.  I originally was going to add a bit of the silver Simply Elegant Trim around the sentiment, but after a happy mistake of curling a strand, I knew I had to add it to the packages!
How cute are those little silver curls of ribbon?!?  A Rhinestone in the center helped to hold them in place, while adding just a little bit more bling.  Sweet and simple and all kinds of festive!

Merry Monday ~ Halloween Edition

Happy Halloween stampers!

It's another Merry Monday...the Halloween edition!  I cased one of this months Crafty Carrot Collective Spruced Up tutorial's, turning Jennifer's Christmas card into a Halloween card.
I love the Black & White DSP pack!  All of these patterns were perfect for some Halloween ornaments.  I die cut the ornaments from two different patterns, outlining them with Basic Black.  Adhesive Sheets are you best friend with these dies!  Be sure to add that to your order if you order this adorable bundle!

A little Fresh Freesia was blended in the background, along with a few snowflakes helped to create a not-so-spooky background.  My favorite part of this card are the lights!  I die cut them from a piece of Basic White and colored them with Stampin' Blends. Aren't they the cutest?!?

I snuck in a little Bewitching spider and a Parakeet Party sentiment from September's Paper Pumpkin Kit.   That little spider just makes me happy!

I hope you have a fun and safe Halloween!  Mummy dogs and a little trick-or-treating are on our agenda this evening.

Happy Stamping!

Merry Monday Spruced Up Christmas

It may be 80 degrees in the middle of October, but I'm beginning to think about Christmas!  I even told my boys to start working on their lists...maybe for once I'll get a head start on things.  Maybe...

One thing I do know is that I'll have a head start on my Christmas cards!

I had some fun with the super cute Spruced Up bundle for this card.  I inked up the larger tree in Shaded Spruce and the smaller tree in Granny Apple Green, cutting them out with the coordinating dies.   Want to know what is so awesome about these dies?!?  In addition to cutting out the image, you also get a fun die-cut outline of the image!  I used the outline of the larger tree to "spruce" things up a bit more.
In addition to the trees, a tiny little Polished Pink present was tucked in with the trees, along with a Polished Pink star on top. A few Sweet Sorbet Season Sequins added just the right amount of bling.

In true Craft-somnia Momma fashion, the sentiment was heat embossed on Pool Party, which went along nicely with the stamped Pool Party Stitched Rectangle.  A Whimsical Woodland 3D card front was the perfect choice for a little touch of texture.

Thanks for stopping by today!
