Summer Paper Cone Wreath

Hi everyone!  I hope you are having an awesome summer so far!  Today I am sharing a Summer Paper Cone Wreath I made.  I got directions on how to make it from Holly at Ribbons & Glue.  It uses A LOT of paper and is time consuming but is lots of fun to make and I love how it turned out!  I used the Create a Critter Cricut cartridge for the sun.  I cut out the "Lazy days of summer" sentiment on my Cameo using the Silhouette Studio.  I also inked all of the papers using Tea Dye Tim Holtz Distress Ink.  I am going to enter this into the challenges listed below.  Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Krafty Girls Challenge #11 - Color Splash

*Click HERE for my 1 year Blogaversary giveaway!*

Hi everyone!  We've had a rough few days here in my part of Maryland.  We had a bad storm Friday night and the power in our house was out all weekend.  The temperature was in the triple digits so our house was unbearably hot!  Luckily my awesome sister let my family spend LOTS AND LOTS of time at her house where there was air conditioning!  We had fun hanging out with her and her husband too.  My son was actually kind of disappointed when our power came back on because he didn't want to leave!  Anyway, this week over at Krafty Girls the challenge is to create a paper craft that is black and white with a splash or pop of color of your choice!  For my project I decided to have a splash of yellow on my card!  I used the sun from Create a Critter.  I put a cute PK face on it and put it on an Action Wobble!  I'm entering this into Cardz TV Cricut Cardz Challenge #111 which is to create a project with a summer theme. I'm also entering this into the Cricut Chirp July Challenge which is to have a sun, glitter, and something with a smile on it.  I hope to see you link up at Krafty Girls!  Thanks for looking and have a great day!  :)
