Penny Pencil

  Good Morning!

Today's Post is about the Simon Says Kids Summer Vacation Challenge.

Last week Penny and I spent some time together and created
this FUN Back to School Pencil!

It's a Penny Pencil!
(but looks like a Dr. Suess Pencil lol)

Made from a Yellow Pool Noodle and some
Alpha Stickers, Construction Paper and Foil.

I know the top is a bit wonky looking but this was shipped from China, via Amazon and arrived looking like a pretzel, actually a paper clip so I think we did a pretty good job with straightening it out lol

Penny started 1st Grade yesterday and had an awesome day!
She is a crazy good reader and is probably the kindest kid in class.

We Are So Proud Of Her!

And she is a Bus Rider this year, which is very exciting!

Here's her project!

Penny and her 1st Grade Pencil.

Peace Baby!

 She is so grown up!

 Later Dude!

I know she will have an awesome school year!

Thanks for popping in!

Enjoy~~

Simon Says Kids Challenge

   Good Morning!

Penny is again participating in the

Penny has another great craft to share with you all.

She created rock and beaded photo holders.

Super cute and the adults loved them as gifts!

Penny loves to paint and be creative.
So after a look at Pinterest we decided we had everything
we needed to make these photo holders.

1st the painting of the rocks.

 She's quite serious about this!

Well until she thought it looked like she painted a smiley face
with ketchup and mustard lol

She's not wrong!

She added pretty beads to a wire and we attached it to the rock.
Also added a piece of felt under the rock so we wouldn't harm any furniture.
Crafting is all about the little details!

Penny picked out 2 of her favorite photos of her and Gramps.
As this was going to be a gift for him we thought they would be perfect.

AND she had created his apron for his birthday, painting her hand prints
all over it and his name with a stencil.

They bake every week and now have matching chef's hats and aprons.
Tomorrow is Gramps last official babysitting day, mine was last Thursday.
Such fun times with this sweet child.
But don't fret there will be many, many more, just not on a weekly basis!

These would make great Teacher Gifts too!

Thanks for coming by and seeing Penny do her thing!

Appreciate your support!
(after all, she will inherit all of my stamps and craft supplies lol)

Enjoy~~

Kids Summer Vacation Challenge

  Good Morning!

Penny is also participating in the

We scoured Pinterest and decided to make a Little Red Schoolhouse Frame.
Penny starts Kindergarten on August 31st.

CRAZY!

And sadly that means our weekly babysitting gig is over.
We have been fired!  :(

Thankfully we will cover early release days and
teacher-in-school- days and of course a few vacation days.

Here she is hard at work on the painting portion of this craft!
We glued the stickst together and I trimmed off the roof sides,
under her careful supervision.

See the tongue?!?!
hahahaha

When it was all dry she began to decorate it
with stickers and a picture of her gearing up for a soccer game.
That photo will be replaced once we have her official 1st day of Kindergarten photo!

She is very proud of herself!
(and so am I).

We {heart} crafting!
If you recall, last year she made a card AND a video
where she thanked her viewers and colored her 'centerments' LOL

Thanks again for rooting Penny on!

Enjoy!

Altenew Colorpalooza Kids Contest 2

  Good Morning!

I told Penny about the Altenew Colorpalooza Kids Contest,

so of course, she wanted to play along.

Here are the second set of coloring pages she completed.

Right now I am still babysitting every Thursday.
We always do some type of arts and crafts when I am there
and have so much FUN!

 I am soooooo lucky!

And here is her art work!

She decided to go with a monochromatic pallet here!
( I think she was tired, this was her 4th page lol)

Thanks for cheering Penny on!

Enjoy!

Altenew Colorpalooza Kids Contest 1

 Good Morning!

I told Penny about the Altenew Colorpalooza Kids Contest,

so of course, she wanted to play along.

Here are a couple of her coloring pages she completed.

When I asked her what colors she wanted to use, she
replied without hesitation.....RAINBOW!
This kid knows what she likes!

Here she is hard at work.

Here are her 1st two entries.

Thanks for cheering Penny on!

Enjoy!
