Framed Butterfly

Good Morning!

I am back Guest Designing over at the CropStop Blog.

They have the most wonderful Challenges and an amazing CropStop Store
where you can find all of your paper crafting needs.
Dies, Embossing Folders, Storage, Punches and Paper, just to name a few.
Go on over and check them out, you'll be glad you did!

No sentiment, just a pretty all occasion card!

Here's how I created it!

I layered 2 of the My Favorite Things Cross Stitched Rectangles together, die cutting in White card stock.  This creates an easy and decorative frame.

I die cut the Memory Box Distress Windham Collage from White card stock and topped it with my pretty Cross Stitched Rectangle frame.  I then layered a piece of pretty Violet card stock behind that.  Adhering a piece of Fun Foam using Scor Tape to the back of all of those layers.  The Fun Foam gives this panel a nice sturdy feel.

Next I cut the pretty Dogwood Blossom Corner die by Poppy Stamps
from Violet and Green card stock.  I cropped the flowers from the Violet piece and layered them on to the Green vine.  Topped with Adhesive Pearls.

My butterfly is from the Memory Box Butterfly Exhibit die.  I just snipped the largest butterfly from the die cut and again backed it with the pretty Violet card stock.
It just POPS!
Added one more Adhesive Pearl.

As always, a little bit of dimension.  I flipped up the butterfly wings a bit.

I stamped a wee little butterfly on the inside as well as a little vine.
Sending Love Stamps by Gina K Designs.
Inks in Rich Razzleberry and Wild Wasabi.

This card will be entered into the Scrapy Land Challenge, Anything Goes!

Thanks so much for flitting by.

Love it when you do!

Floral Card Set

Good Morning!

I loved creating these pretty and easy AND flat cards.  So easy to mail!  Lately I have been making a lot more flat cards, great to have on hand and I can just pop them in my mail box.  YAY!

These will be entered into the Challenge at Simon Says Monday, Flower Power and Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes!

With each card I just sponged off an area using a Rectangle die.  I used the Gina K Designs stamp sets; Elegant Florals, Sending Love and You Get Me
I also colored in the flowers using Copic Markers.
Raven Black ink.
Spiced Marmalade Oxide ink.

After sponging the Oxide ink on I lifted some of it by dropping water on to it.
Black and White striped Designer Paper.
Nuevo Drops in Clear. (which take on the color of ink beneath them)
Candy Dots.

Peeled Paint Oxide ink.

Iced Spruce Oxide ink.

Love how fun they were to make and how nice they turned out.

Thanks for popping in!

Enjoy~~

Love Florals

Back again.

This card will be entered into the Challenges at;  Simon Says Monday, Flower Power, Scrapy Land, Anything Goes and Crop Stop April Party #38.

This card uses the Gina K Designs stamp set, Thank You Friend.  I did a little water coloring using my regular Stampin' Up! inks.

Penny Black Border Edges die.
Raven Black ink.
Ink Splatters.
Black and White striped Designer Paper.

My second card will be entered into the Simon Says Wednesday, Sparkle And Shine.

I did a little more water coloring with this one.  Stamp set by Gina K Designs, Sending Love.
Raven Black ink.
Ink Splatters.

Of course you can never really capture the sparkle and shine of WOS, but the butterfly has been doused in it.

Thanks for flitting by!

Love And Sympathy

Good Afternoon!

A couple of cards to share with you today.

This first one will be entered into the Papertrey Ink Challenge, Spot Color Word Dies.  Betsy has a wonderful video you can watch HERE.

I made this into a little gift card and I know the perfect little girl to give it to, I also have  gifts stockpiled for any and all occasions, YAY!  I used the Papertrey Ink stamp set, Ballerina Beauty, stamped in Raven Black ink.   Then using the Big Basics Love You die I cut out my 'hidden sentiment'.

I colored the Love You die cut in 5 different shades of Pink using Copic Markers.  Then I placed it back into the negative space.  Added a few Pink Sequins in different shades and sizes and a bit of Baker's Twine.

My next card will be entered into the Challenges at; Simon Says Monday, Flower Power and Simon Says Wednesday, Sparkle And Shine.

Using the Gina K Designs stamp sets, Elegant Florals and Sending Love I created this Sympathy card.  I stamped the leafy vine stamp in Versa Mark and then Heat Embossed in Gold Embossing Powder.  This became my 'hidden' panel.

My top panel I dry embossed using a Sizzix Embossing Folder.  I then cut it down a bit so I could have a bit of the heat embossed panel peeking out.  I also added Copper Foiled paper to each edge.   This was popped up using foam dimensions.

I stamped my Calla Lily 3 times with Versa Mark ink and then heat embossed in Gold Embossing Powder.  These I fussy cut out.  Stitched Traditional Tag die cut for my heat embossed sentiment.  Natural Twine.

A little bit of depth and dimension.

Hoping this brings love and comfort.

*and for the record I made this card with a fever and sinus infection  ;)

Thanks for popping by.

Enjoy~~
