Scrapbook Club Sneak Peek: Fun in the Sun

Hi bloggers, today Sarah is sharing with you a sneak peek of her upcoming Scrapbook Club called Fun in the Sun. Reminisce those summer days with this bright double page layout featuring papers from the Simple Stories Sunshine & Happiness collection.

Photos:

For those of you attending this month's Scrapbook Club you will need 5 photos in total.

The two photos on the first layout will need to be quite small, approx. 5cm x 7cm (2" x 3").

The three photos on the second layout need to be no larger than 3" x 4".

All photos used on the layouts are landscape. If you would prefer to use portrait photos you may do so but the design of your layout may need to be altered to accommodate them.

Since the layout is bright and summery, you may want to consider photos that also have bright colours in them or use colourful tints on your photos.

Sarah looks forward to seeing you all on Saturday!

Scrapbook Club Sneak Peek: Simple & Sweet

Hi bloggers, today Sarah is sharing with you a sneak peek of this Saturday's Scrapbook Club - Simple & Sweet. The layout of each design will be focused around one photo, using some artistic, mixed media techniques including the new Minc mediums with the Minc foiling machine!

Photos:
For those of you attending this month's Scrapbook Club you will need to bring 2 photos with you which need to be quite small. Measurements of the photo's used in this layout are 5cm x 7cm (approx. 2" x 3") in portrait format. Black and white photos may work best to fit in easily with the colour scheme. The photo used in the first layout has a rainbow tint on the photo - so you can consider colour tints in pastel shades which may work nicely with the layout if you are able to do so.

This month's class will require you to release the artist within, so get ready to get creative!

Pockets & Pages Sneak Peek

Hi bloggers, today Sarah is sharing a sneak peek of her next Scrapbook Club coming up this Saturday! The theme for this month's layout is Spring and the design of the layout will include a Project Life pocket page.

For the first layout, Sarah has designed a wonderful Spring layout using Tim Holtz Wildflowers die set, giving the layout a lovely garden feel about it. For this layout you will need one 4x6 inch photo and also a smaller photo, approx. 3x4 inches.

For the Project Life pocket page, Sarah has designed two different layouts, one to be a more traditional Project Life layout, whilst the other shows you how to take a normal scrapbook layout and split it into the pockets. This layout will incorporate the use of the WRMK fuse tool, adding design elements and flip pockets to show you how to make the most of your Project Life pockets. For this layout Sarah recommends to bring a variety of photos ranging from 3x4 to 6x4 inches in size.

There are still 2 spaces left on Sarah's class on Saturday, so if you fancy dabbling in a bit of scrapbooking, give us a call on 01293 863576 to book your space.

Scrapbook Club Sneak Peek

Hi bloggers, today we have a sneak peek of Saturday's Scrapbook Club to share with you today, so for those of you coming along, have a good look at the photos to give you an idea of what you might want to bring with you.

Since the theme of this month's Scrapbook Club is family tree, the two pages have a vintage feel about them with some brown tones. Therefore when printing your photos you might want to change them to a sepia tone or black and white.

For the family tree page the size of the photo space is 3.5cm height by 3cm width so bare this in mind when choosing what photos to bring with you. There will be a template to draw round to cut the photo to the right size and shape.

The opposite page will feature a wedding layout which you can use for one of the couples featured in the family tree. The size of the photo space is approx. 11cm x 8.5cm and once again we will have a template you can draw around to get the photo to fit perfectly.

We always recommend photocopying old photos or scanning them into your computer and printing copies just so that you still have the photo on hand in case you want to use it for another project.

There are still 2 places left on this class on Saturday so if you fancy dabbling in a bit of scrapbooking, call us on 01293 863576 to book your space.

Charry's Winter Wonderland

Morning bloggers! Today we wanted to share with you Charry's two page winter wonderland layout, using the new Bo Bunny Altitude paper collection in beautiful shades of blue and purple.

This layout design really does create a winter wonderland with snowflakes falling and white trees creating a winter backdrop. With these sort of colours you would want to choose photos that incorporated white colours to pick up on the frosty elements in the design.

Hopefully this has given you a bit of scrapbooking inspiration for those winter photos that we might soon be taking if snow is forecasted on its way to the UK!

DON'T FORGET!!!!

This Friday is Christmas Jumper Day and we would love for you to come in and join the fun! We will be hosting a festive Create & Take, a bring and buy bake-off, a snow sweepstake and raffle with some festive music and plenty of Christmas cheer. An event not to be missed and we want to see those Christmas jumpers worn with pride!
