Not the best picture, it's a bit squint, might have to sort it later. The image is coloured with Promarkers, took me ages to do her hair but I'm really pleased with how it turned out. The papers are BG Urban Prairie, sentiment is SU! and the swirls were made with a Paper Shapers punch. The Sugar Nellie challenge on Facebook this week was to use a punch so I can enter the card into it. I am also entering the following

TGF 2nd Anniversary Blog Hop!!

Hey all! It's hard to believe that just TWO short years ago, Marie had a couple of 4x6 sets for sale, a brand new blog, and watched Pink Poison become The Greeting Farm. Two years later, after some big dreams realized (including their first trip to Anaheim for CHA!), after seeing some AMAZING designers work their magic for them, the Greeting Farm goes from strength to strength!

TWO YEARS and TWO BLOGS later, The Greeting Farm invites YOU to be a part of the celebration!
So tonight at 7pm the blog hop began. If you arrived here as part of the hop then welcome. If not you need to pop over to the TGF blog HERE to go to the start.
I hope you like the card I made for the hop. I adore The Greeting Farm stamps, just don't own enough of them....yet!! The gorgeous image is coloured with Promarkers and the equally gorgeous papers are Basic Grey Capella.Cardstock is Stampin'Up! The wonderful sketch if this weeks' one over at Mojo Monday.
Thanks for visiting. I would love it if you could leave a comment

This is what I would love to be doing but alas the good old Scottish Summer means the only water I am likely to be wading in is the puddles outside my house!
Love this Tilda image, she is so sweet. The card is entered into two challenges. The first is the sketch challenge over at Midnight Madness, the second is Bunny Zoe's challenge which is "Summer Days".
Tilda is coloured with Promarkers and the papers are Basic Grey Kioshi.

Wags & Whiskers DT call

Yip, I am having a another go at applying for a DT. Wags & Whiskers have a DT call out just now and you have to make a card following a sketch. You can use any image so I decided to use on of The Greeting Farm images, which are available at Bunny-Zoe Crafts. I have coloured her with Promarkers and the papers are Basic Grey Kioshi. Lovely lush papers, seemed a shame to cut into them. I have matted the image on some SU cardstock cut with Nestabilities. I added three glass beads in line with the sketch and the sentiment is a HOTP stamp. The roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the pins are from The Hobby House.
I am wishing my photos were better. My hubby is looking at getting me a good camera for my 40th, so fingers crossed. Also need to invest in a photo editing programme methinks.
Anyway, back to work tomorrow so the number of cards will reduce accordingly. I've enjoyed taking part in so many challenges this week. Thank you for coming to visit me and for any comments you may leave

Karen's Doodles UK Challenge

Thanks to my friend Tina I have been introduced to the wonderful images by Karen Johnson. You can find them here
There is also a challenge blog for the UK and the current challenge is to create a masculine card. I have used papers from Basic Grey Boxer collection. The image has been coloured with Promarkers. No flowers of course as they are hardly masculine so I decided to avoid embellies altogether and just keep it plain and simple. No sentiment added yet until I decide who is getting the card.
Thanks for visiting and to those of you who are leaving lovely comments. I really appreciate them

The Sugar Bowl challenge strikes again.

I always love playing in the Sugar Bowl. The sketches are always fab and there is always an added element. This week was "recycling"
I have used one of the Sugar Nellie Manga images, coloured with my trusty Promarkers. I am gonna check out some videos to learn how to colour properly with them lol!
The papers are Basic Grey Porcelain and the recycled element was the doily. It is difficult to see the different layers in the piccie, think I may go back and ink a few edges. Click on the image for a closer look
thanks for visiting and for any comments

Come play in The Sugar Bowl

Another great sketch from the girls but I had to rotate it to fit my image. I have used a Gorjuss image, coloured with Promarkers. The cardstock is Stampin' Up! as is the sentiment stamp. Papers are Basic Grey Ambrosia. The added element this for this challenges was "punches". I have used a Retro Flower punch and SU 1" circle punch to mat the sentiment.
Fingers crossed tight as it's a fab prize once again.

Simon Says Stamp Blog Hop

As well as hopping around blogland you had to make a card using either House Mouse, Happy Hoppers or Gruffies images. I have turned my stash upside down looking for my Gruffies stamps but alas, cannot find them,(note to self- stash need a clearout)
You also had to use
3 embellies
2 papers/cardstock
1 image
I have coloured the image with my Derwent Inktense pencils, the paper is from the Basic Grey Porcelain pad and the cardstock is Bazzill. My 3 embellishments are the flower, spacer and brad, all from stash.
The winner can win a Sissix Big Shot, or if you already own one a $50 shopping spree at Simon Says Stamp. Am keeping my fingers crossed!!!!
