Well-known designer and podcaster, Marly Bird has created a beautiful blanket, that is featured on the Red Heart free pattern website.

When you click the photo above or HERE, you will be taken to Marly's blog, where not only can you find a link to the pattern, but also the backstory of this pretty blanket.

C2C fans will be thrilled to know that this design is crocheted using Diagonal Box Stitch!

The photo alone makes me want to crochet one for my Sophia!

What do you think of this unusual pattern? Does it make you want to try a C2C blanket where you change colors and follow a chart?

TT Tutorial Tuesday Love Wiggles Trivet

This Love Wiggles Trivet for TT is the cutest table trivet I have seen in a long time!

http://www.mooglyblog.com/love-wiggles-trivet/#more-18124

Moogly is offering this as a free PATTERN, but Tamara's writes her patterns so well and gives so much information, it is almost like a tutorial.

The PATTERN is taken from her original Wiggle It Trivet and she has upgraded it for Valentine's Day!

There is also a link to the original pattern on her site as well as several helpful video tutorials.

I LOVE the pink cotton, but what color would you make it in?

Vintage Inspired Coin Purse Free Crochet Pattern

I loved designing and crocheting this vintage inspired coin purse and I think you will enjoy making it!  In addition to working a pretty stitch pattern, you will learn how to sew your crochet piece onto hardware. Java is a beautiful yarn that creates perfect stitch definition, with just the right amount of sheen. My daughters have been 'fighting' over this sample. Thank goodness it is a quick pattern to create, with a minimal amount of yarn, so I can easily make more!
