Random March!

This little boy.... I was so sick at home one Sunday and Derick had gone to church just to remind some people of things and was coming back to help with the kids while I slept. As soon as Derick left without Andrew, he ran upstairs, dressed himself (could ya tell?) and headed out (running/biking, who knew) to go to church with dad. I was trying to call for him to stop but he didn't hear or wasn't listening :) I tried to call anyone I thought may have a phone with them at church or who would be home during church. I was able to reach my neighbor and he said he would go out and look for him. After a while Derick showed up back at home and I told him what had happened, but Derick didn't pass him on his way home. I was so worried he was lost! Our church is a 1/2 mile away, but there are a few streets he could have turned on to get lost. Derick headed back to the church to look for him.
Before Derick got back someone from church brought him back with his bike. Derick searched the roads, the building and couldn't find him so headed home. Come to find out from our friend, he saw Andrew in church looking the way he did and knew something was up. He knew Derick was leaving to head home to be with his sick family so tried to get Andrew to come home. He asked how he got there and Andrew showed him his bike parked in a spot in the parking lot! Thank you Jose for noticing something was wrong and bringing him home to us! I told Andrew he is never allowed to cross the busy street without us. He said, "ya, a car almost broke my bones when I crossed it." AHH! SCARY! (look closely at the picture.....spiderman pj shirt with a tie, suit and skate shoes- he's got style)

My sleepy little girl always cracks me up before I go to bed.

Derick hanging out playing the guitar. He loves to do it and is really good!

Who doesn't like to sit on their brother in a car seat and watch tv?!

My cute Andrew. Loves to be silly and loves to play the guitar like his dad!

A little water and a comb can really make a difference :)

At the Young Women's broadcast with my fun young women! Look how young they all look :) (that includes us Lori, Angie and Jocelyn :)

Happy 5th Birthday Buddy!

I can't believe Andrew is 5! He had a good birthday celebration. We always do something to celebrate Andrew's and Uncle Ryan's birthday which is 2 days later.

We went to Los Hermanos with Cory & Cami and their girls, and Randy & Mary Ann. The kids were loving the ice cream drinks!!

Every year I ask Andrew what kind of birthday cake he wants and I try my best to make it! He has had a train, Lightening McQueen, lamb....and this year he wanted Darth Vader! So here it is, his Darth Vader cake!

I stressed and stressed about it but Andrew loved it and that's all that matters!

We arranged to have Darth Vader come and visit the party (thanks Matt!). The kids were just in awe! Andrew told him that he loved him and that we had his head on our table, Brooke (my niece) wanted to marry him and kept giving him flirty looks. It was awesome!

Can you tell the kids loved it?!

They sure loved eating Darth Vader!

What we've been up to...

Here are some cute pictures of the kids lately!
Ashley loves her little vacuum that a friend gave us. She loves to copy me when I clean!
Andrew wanted a snack so I asked him to just get something for he and Ashley. Later I come over to the table and they had the biggest pile of grapes ever! They ate every one of them...
Andrew went into the bathroom and got all my hairbrushes and put them in his pockets/beltloops. Then he came out and said he was ready to go to work! He went over to Derick and started this.

Amy did my hair one day....gotta love older sisters making you beautiful!

We had fun trying on headbands and being silly :)

Oh poor Ashley....she always has the worst bedhead.

Me and my cute kiddies. I love them!

I needed boxes so I headed to the recycle bin at the Distribution Center. I couldn't reach any so why not put Andrew in there and have him hand them to me?! It worked great and he had fun!
