Happy 5th Birthday Buddy!

I can't believe Andrew is 5! He had a good birthday celebration. We always do something to celebrate Andrew's and Uncle Ryan's birthday which is 2 days later.

We went to Los Hermanos with Cory & Cami and their girls, and Randy & Mary Ann. The kids were loving the ice cream drinks!!

Every year I ask Andrew what kind of birthday cake he wants and I try my best to make it! He has had a train, Lightening McQueen, lamb....and this year he wanted Darth Vader! So here it is, his Darth Vader cake!

I stressed and stressed about it but Andrew loved it and that's all that matters!

We arranged to have Darth Vader come and visit the party (thanks Matt!). The kids were just in awe! Andrew told him that he loved him and that we had his head on our table, Brooke (my niece) wanted to marry him and kept giving him flirty looks. It was awesome!

Can you tell the kids loved it?!

They sure loved eating Darth Vader!

I'm 2!

We had a fun family dinner to celebrate Ashley turning 2. Amy, Dave, Wes, Seaka, Andy and Leisl came over to eat and have cake and ice cream! It was Wesley's birthday a few days after Ashley's, so he shared some of his Lego Star Wars cake with us too.

Can you tell we got the curling iron out too? We had fun. Poor Ashley had just whacked her forehead on the floor right before blowing out her candles, so don't mind the goose egg...

Happy birthday to my longest and bestest buddies!

ennazil, It was so great to see you this summer! Looking back through pictures I couldn't stop laughing at some of the things we used to do....and wear! Hope you had a great birthday!

Kristy, I love you! You are always good for a great laugh and fun times! You're the best!

I miss you Carla! We had fun back in the day! A word of advice, never sit in front of her while sledding in the same sled.... :)

Happy Birthday Derick!

Every year I think I stretch out Derick's birthday celebration a little longer and longer. I think I do this so that he will do it for me on my birthday! We started out by heading up to Park City with the kids and his parents and brother to stay the night on Friday. We made fajitas (one of his favorites), swam, wore fancy bathrobes back from the pool (I need to get those pics from his parents, they are pretty funny), had brownie sundaes, played Phase 10, stayed up late, woke up early, shopped, rode the Alpine Slide, had snow cones and ate candy. How is that for a fun-filled 24 hours!

Someone was anxious to swim AND thought it was his birthday. That is why there are only 4 candles. It was easier than trying to convince him dad wasn't turning 4...

Loading up and heading up the mountain! ("Please Andrew don't lean too far forward, please Andrew just sit still..."-this is what I was saying in my head the whole time they were riding the chairlift)

Here comes Grandma! It was her first time! Andrew rode with Grandpa.

Ashley was pretty bored and HOT waiting for them to come down. She wasn't quite old enough to ride it.

Later Saturday night we went on a date to Tucano's to use Derick's free dinner. We stuffed ourselves full of those little cheese roll things and lots and lots of meat! It was so yummy, every single bite!

On Sunday evening we had some family and some neighbors come to the park to eat cake and ice cream with us! Derick loves chocolate, so we had to get the chocolate cake from Costco. That thing is so good. Then I made white cupcakes for those that don't like chocolate! It was good fun, good company and a great weekend!

The kids enjoying some cupcakes. Looks like Ashley is pretty into Hayden!

Happy Birthday, Dad!

The next night we had leftover cake after dinner. I thought these were pretty cute of Ashley enjoying her cake!

Em's Birthday!

Way back when, well like a month ago, I did a POST for my little sisters birthday. Here are some pictures of her and her cake! She wanted a star cake with purple frosting and sprinkles, so this is what I did! I am so glad there is someone else out there that loves sprinkles as much as I do! Do you love sprinkles?

Happy Birthday to me!

Yes I know my birthday was back in July, but I never posted any pictures of my cake! My mom was just here for 2 weeks and one day we bought some of the famous pink cookies from the gas station. Those things are so good! Well, they were the inspiration for my cake! If you know me you know I LOVE LOVE LOVE sprinkles! So......Eat your heart out Granny B's!

Happy EARLY Birthday Andy!

Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Andy, Andrew, Angela, Andersbergers, Happy birthday to you! Isn't he the cutest?! We had an early birthday dinner for him last Monday before he leaves to go home to Alaska for the summer. We had Paul, Kara, Ada, Seth, Amy, Wesley, Seaka, and Andy over. Amy made a yummy roast, I made rolls and potatoes (thank you Derick for being the taste tester because I wasn't about to!) and Paul and Ada made his yummy cake! When it comes to Andy, it has got to be mint chocolate chip! Paul, you did great! It tasted just like Asphalt Pie from Wingers! Andy, I hope you have fun at home this summer for all of us.

Happy Birthday to Andrew & Uncle Ryan!

Every year since Andrew has been born we have had a combined birthday party with Uncle Ryan (Derick's 6'7" little brother :)) whose birthday is 2 days later. Here are some pictures of the cakes, Ryan had a lemon cheesecake and Andrew had his train cake. If you look at the picture of Andrew blowing the candles out you can see how tempting it was to blow by the looks of Kailyn and Wesley's faces!

Great Grandma and Grandpa Hunt came up to celebrate with us. We missed them at Ashley's blessing because they were sick, but we were so happy to have them there! Ashley isn't looking at the camera, but look how cute Great Grandma looks! I love the picture of all the great grandkids on the couch. This is going to be one they look back on a long time from now and remember how fun and loving their great grandparents are!
