Recently I needed a card for a babygirl but when I took a look in my stash of cards, I only could find baby boy cards. So it’s time to create some baby girl cards!

I sponged a background with blue ink and the starry nicht chipboard is sponged with a yellow ink.

The words sweet baby are coloured using Copic markers RV52.

Today I want to share this card I made for our new challenge at Make it Crafty. We want to see your coloured dewdrops on your creations. I have to admit that I wasn’t that excited for it. It’s totally out of my comfortzone but I’m happy with the results. I’ve used a picture as a reference for the dewdrops.  That’s why challenges are so awesome, you’ll be amazed what you can do with your colouringmedium.

Baby girl tag

Hi everyone!

Today I want to show you a tag for a present I made for a babygirl. It’s so much fun to create something to hang on your presents too. People are really appreciate it! I like the colourcombo pink with a yellow accent.

I’ve used the Adapt-a-Word chipboard set for the text and added some clear stickles on the baby word and the horse is from the Baby Shadow Box Collection and added some stickles too! The background is sponged with some Distress Ink Oxide. It was so much fun to play with all these things!

Celebrating Friendships

Celebrating Friendships with a hot cuppa!

One of my favourite past times with friends is sitting around having a cuppa and chatting. It’s hard to beat face to face interaction with a friend. You can read each other’s body language, laugh out loud and easily get stuck for hours drinking way too much coffee.

Sadly, many of my bestest friends live so far away from me that I don’t get the opportunity to sit across the table and laugh over a cuppa so instead I do what I do best and make them cards that will brighten their day.

Happy birthday little monster!

 Hi everyone!

MiC gal Deborah here today with some inspiration for our challenge for adding some details with a black pen. Well, I failed… Sorry! I didn’t understand the challenge completely and did something else. Oops! Instead of adding texture with a black pen, I drew extra things to the image. Like the green monster, I drew some eyes on them instead of 3 circles as eyes and added brows. To the orange monster I drew a tongue out of his mouth. And for the yellow monster I’ve added a bow, brows and lashes to his eyes.

Primrose

 I just want to share this card I made. I made it for a friend who’s getting hopefully her last chemotherapy against her breastcancer. I want to let her know that I still think of her and encourage her. She was so strong and did it so well.

I coloured this sweet and beautiful image using my Copic markers but I’ve added some details with pencils too. Here are the Copic markers I’ve used:

Hi everyone!

I wish you a very happy New Year, may all your dreams come true! I just want to show you the card I’ve created for the new skin challenge. I know it’s hard sometimes but I have 1 big tip for you all: clean your markers before you start to colour! It depends from your colourcombination, but my E11, E04 or E13 are starting to be tacky really fast.  Rub on your nibs with some alcohol and make sure your marker contains enough ink.

For this card I’ve used  the gorgeous new Classy Olivia Digi Stamp. She was awesome to colour! She’s one of the new teen stamps, so I decided to use some trendy haircolours: a greyish brown and a purple ombre and purple lips.

Fairy Gift

Hi everyone!

MiC gal Deborah here today with my last Christmascard of this year.  I really love this cute Fairy Gift Digi Stamp. I couldn’t wait almost another year to colour up this cutie. I sponged the background using my Distress ink and I coloured the chipboard with my Y21 Copic marker to give it a bit of contrast against the green.

 Today I want to show you the card that I’ve created for this month’s “Sparkle” challenge. I used this beautiful “Fairy Glimmermist Digital Stamp“.

I coloured this fairy using Copic markers. Here are the colours:

Hi everyone!

Today I want to show you a simple card I’ve made using one of the new released flowers. I cropped the Peony Bouquet Digi Stamp and placed 2 over eachother. I coloured the beautiful stamps using my Copic markers. I did some fussycutting around the flowers and sponged the background with some Distress Ink.

Ginger castle

Hi everyone!

 Did you already see the new and huge Candyworld release at Make it Crafty? There’s so much to choose from and the images are awesome! You can your own candybackgrounds or you can play with the original backgrounds. For my card today, I’ve used the Ginger Castle Digi Stamp but I cropped the image to the front part of the castle. Isn’t this fun?

I think this is just the perfect image for on a Christmascard, I love it so much! I printed the image a bit lighter and softer than black, so you don’t get the hard black lines. I also added the Christmas word chipboard and stamped the wishes word on the bottom.

Winter stella shadow box

Hi everyone!

Crafty Gal Deborah here for you today. I had the Circle Shadow Box Chipboard set laying around here for a while and I didn’t do anything with it before and now I wanted to give it a try. I went to our local craftstore and bought some white gesso and there I saw a gorgeous metallic paint. And the idea was made!

I glued the shadow box together and painted it 2 times with the white gesso then I painted 3 layers of the metallic paint, so it was nice and smooth. Believe me, it’s so much more prettier in real life, it’s so hard to make a good picture of something that’s so shiny. I also used some star snowflake chipboard and coated it whit Glossy Accents and sprinkled some glitter on it, I did the same with the Christmas word chipboard. The background is a piece of design paper.

I’ve used my Copic markers to colour Winter Stella Digi Stamp, here are the colours:

Belle of the Ball

Hi everyone!

Make it Crafty gal Deborah here today with another inspirational card. I just love the images by Krista Smith so much, so I descided to colour up this beautiful Belle of the Ball image and I added the Courtyardbackground to it. Aren’t they the perfect match?

She’s just like a princess at a castle. I think it’s a typical girly card and ofcourse her dress is pink!

Broken Dolly

 Hi everyone!

Crafty Gal Deborah here today with a full Copic inspiration card. I wanted to create a Halloween scéne card featuring the Broken Dolly Digi Stamp. So I started to search for a suiting background that was not too detailed because the Broken  Dolly is pretty detailed and it could be too much then. I thought the Eerie Scene Digi Stamp would be a perfect match. (And it’s 25% off right now, hurry!!!) I printed the background in a soft grey, so you have a no lines effect when it’s coloured.

I wanted to colour the sky with other colours than I always do, so I played with my Copic markers in many different colours. I decided to add some trees in the background for a darker feeling.
