Though the eyes of a child

This week's corner view theme is: seeing through the eyes of a child ... this video is through the eyes of a not so young child :)

The thorny tree

Some months ago I showed you pictures of wood. Here are some fresh ones of the thorny kind. Actually, I would have liked to take some photos of the three when it is in bloom, but I missed it this year. These days this one in the centre of Málaga is beautifully green. There is a small sign under the tree with is name and origin. It's a Drunken Tree (Ceiba Insignis).

Oh, and something else. For those of you using Blogger for you blog, you can now choose a mobile template. I think it is so much easier to view/read on a smartphone. Below is a screenshot of my blog as I see it on my smartphone :)

Have great weekend!

corner view: favorite actor(s)

This week' corner view theme is favorite actor. Well, I can't name just one, and the names you see above are actors that came to my mind when trying to pick one. If one of these actors are in a movie I usually want to see it.

If you click on my list it will take you to wordle.net.where you can generate all kinds of word clouds.

Corner view: Pondering

A PSYCHOLOGICAL TIP
Whenever you're called on to make up your mind,
and you're hampered by not having any,
the best way to solve the dilemma, you'll find,
is simply by spinning a penny.
No -- not so that chance shall decide the affair
while you're passively standing there moping;
but the moment the penny is up in the air,
you suddenly know what you're hoping.

A Grook by Piet Hein
This week's corner view theme is chosen by Juniper and temporarily hosted by Theresa.

Wednesday ....

sun through the blinds and some randomness:

A little while ago I saw that Elisabelle had created a virtual pinboard. I really liked the idea, and now I have my own where I intend to pin all kinds of stuff that inspires me instead of using my fridge and doors etc ... and I won't have to pack it all away when we are moving away.

A little while ago I got a kind of unusual comment on one of my photos on flickr, a spoken critique. You can listen to the comment here. MYKRITEEK.com is a photoblog by an Australian guy who prefers to comment verbally rather than in writing on photos he likes.

Oh, and then I am watching/listening to this PREMIERE: New video with Vinnie Who. I especially like it because my daughter is dancing in it. She is the shortest of the girls :)

And the last one for now. If you like owls, check out this My Owlbarn.

Corner view: Bliss

This week´s corner view theme is bliss. On the first screenshot you see the Windows wallpaper bitmap named Bliss taken by photographer Charles O'Rear. The Bliss image is not the desktop wallpaper I normally look at.

Usually I find a new desktop wallpaper on Smashing Magazine every month.  The second screenshot show you the one I have chosen for June. I find the colors and composition rather blissful.

Cool tool

Yesterday, I stumpled on Shape Collage and made this pretty butterfly with photos from some of my Flickr sets. Easy and cool ...

One thing like about ...

Vienna is that you can walk the streets and parks without having to watch where you step all the time.

Small signs like this one are placed in a lot of strategic places around the city.

I you need to translate the words, try google translator.

Shopping bags

Found these practical shopping bags in La Oca from Reisenthel. I am so fed up with all the plastic bags I get in the shops.

Now, the challenge is to remember to have one of these in my handbag when I leave the house ...
