Growing Up

This was a pretty exciting moment for Josh and the boys! Josh has been waiting patiently for 8-years for someone to take over this job.
Although, it won't be this one for a few more years. The lawn mower weighs more than him.

But atleast he tried.
J.D. thought this was the coolest thing.
When he has to mow it on his own, he probably won't think it's very cool.
He's a pretty big kid!

Here, Birdy Birdy

I took this picture of Piper this morning with my cell phone. I love it! My grandma and my mom alway's told me that if you stuck your bottom lip out, a bird would come and sit on it. My mother-in-law also says it to Piper all the time. The girl has the pout thing down.

This is just one of the many things I never want to forget and alway's want to remember.

Raingutter Regatta

When Josh and I first were getting J.D. ready for scouts, Josh looks at me and say's, "You know, we have to go to Pack Meeting now." See, we've been in cub scouts before. Once a long, long time ago. Long before we knew what to do with little boys and loved the craziness of it all. I wasn't sure how I felt about that.

Last night was our very first pack meeting. It was the Raingutter Regatta. J.D. and Josh worked so hard to make this awesome Pirate Ship. And they were so proud.
Of course there were silly games.
He's so happy. He was throwing a water balloon back and forth with Kyle and they kept breaking it. He's running to get another one.
It was a very cool night. We are so proud of you J.D.!!

Praying Mantis

This is our new friend. Atleast, I think he's one and the same. Tyson keeps catching him and releasing him. We haven't seen him for a few day's. Maybe he got smart and ran away. The kids have had a blast catching him!

First Day of Kindergarten

He has been so excited! It was hard for him to see JD go and him have to wait a week.
Mr. Kaeding is his teacher and she is getting to ready to have a baby boy! Just like Tyson, he was so excited about it. He loves babies!

He was excited to have Logan in his class. I hope she separates them, or they will talk all day!!
We are so proud of you Tyson! Hope you have a great first day!

Mud Pies

Does life get much better than this? Mud pie's by Piper! Awesome!

3rd Grade, Day 2

I sent them walking. Tyson had testing at 9, so I figured they'd beat me there. Not even close. Ten minutes later and they weren't far down the road at all.
Not sure why my son is running like that, but yeah! Go JD!
Ahhh, here is the reason they were late. They were picking up random pieces of garbage off the side of the road. Notice Baylee's glasses? Um, yeah, they were trash a few minutes before this picture. YUCK!

J.D. the 3rd Grader!!

I know I just said this, but where does the time go? Third grade!!!! Third grade!!! He's got to stop growing up and getting so big. It makes me feel so old!
My gosh, though, he is a handsome little devil. He is in Mrs. Kim's class. Most of friends are in Mrs. Hancey's class, but he'll be fine. My adaptable, social kiddo.
I think I may have been embarrassing him. He was like "Mom, stop taking pictures!" Okay, sniff, sniff as I wipe away the tears. See the cute little girl next to him? That's Aubrey, she has Down Syndrome. J.D. is so sweet and kind to her. He wanted to ask the teacher to be her special helper. He is such a good kid!

I missed taking this picture on the first day of school because it was a little bit crazy. But J.D. and Baylee have a picture like this for every year. We took this on the morning of the 2nd day. Better late than never, right?

J.D.'s Baptism

How quickly time does fly! It's hard to believe that J.D. is old enough to be baptized. And at the same time I am so proud of him and so excited for him to begin this part of his journey!
These pictures are in the wrong order, but here we are after the luncheon. I wanted to get a family photo, but by this time, Piper had spilled sloppy joe all down the front of her desk and Tyson had on his shorts and cowboy boots.
Grandpa Scott got to confirm J.D. and his daddy baptized him.

J.D. was baptized in Marysvale, which was very cool. It's where the entire side of my family have been baptized. Brannigan and J.D. thought it was awesome to do it together. It was defiently a feat to get everyone there, but we did it! Even Grandma Doty came, which was so cool. We didn't even know to expect her. What a great surprise.

J.D. we are so proud of you and your choices. You are defiently a choice spirit and you will do so much good with your life. We love you buddy. Congratulations!

Bucakroo Rodeo

Okay, so this might be my favorite part of the Piute County Fair!! The Little Buckaroo! I love it. The kids have a blast and I love getting to see so many of my old friends. We all come home to torture our children, ha, ha, ha!!!

I signed J.D. up for the rodeo and all he did all night was follow this cute girl around. All I know is she is from Las Vegas. J.D. was sure smitten with her. She's a tough girl. She even rode a calf, which J.D. would not do. I told him he owes me $6.00.
Tyson was so much fun to follow around this year. He had a blast doing everything!

Go cowgirl!
Chasing chickens!
Tyson loved the roping! Yikes, my least favorite event of rodeo. No offense to all you ropers out there!
Dirt angels, of course. Hillarious!
J.D. and his girl, agian!
And agian.....
I don't actually have the pictures from them riding. I will try and get them on here later. Tyson rocked and did a great job!
Hanging with Aunt Junction! Pretty, isn't she? My best gal!!!!
Mason, Tyson and Mckinnley hanging on the fence waiting to ride sheep.

I love, love, love this picture! I wasn't going to enter Piper in the rodeo, but she wanted to do it. She did great until Colby actually put her on the sheep. That picture is hillarious. I'll have to post them. She did great!
