Last week I got a phone call from Mom. I knew she was ready to go to the temple, but didn't realize she was as close to doing it as she was. She called and asked if I would be here escort on the 22nd of January. I of course said yes and was so excited, I could barley stand it.
Sherry and I both ended up being her escorts. We went through the 10:40 am sessions. It was amazing to be able to go with both Danny and my Mom. I had never had the chance to attend a session with Danny before, either. But what makes it even cooler was the fact that Kay and Shelley Blackwell and also Sueanne and Paul Swalberg were the ordinance workers for our session. That was so neat. Shelley requested permission to be able to do that session so that they could be with my mom when she went through. Bill and Florence Blackwell were also there. I love them. My in-laws also came and went with us.
It was a happy day!

It was such a good, good day. There are no words to describe how happy of a day it was. We all came home and had a big lunch afterwards. I am so grateful that my mom chose to get her endowments out. It's been a long time coming, but it was worth the wait! What a beautiful day that we can always cherish.
